Men's CEV Champions League 2025_2026

  • Pathetic performace by Trentino. Faure and Ramon were shaking as if they were playing in the CL final. Also the Turkish setter was far better from Sbertoli.

yeah, they were literally robbed of the second set by the refs, but Ziraat deserved the sweep

  • It demands a serious effort to lose 3-0 from Lube ( they changed their system and Nikolov didn't receive at all ) when they don't play at home. What's so wrong with Warzsawa this season????

I strongly ask that there be no more Warsaw involvement in CL. They always fail this way.

There are teams that can achieve a lot, and teams that, despite having good players, will never succeed.

Mmmm I would say that Warzsawa is a ''mixed'' team with some high and some ''low'' level players. Tillie, the libero and less than them but surely Firlej are not fit for a club like Wazsawa. Also coach must have a big part in this year's mess because the previous season the same players were better.

At the end I have no idea about their budget, but continuing with Tillie for the next season as well is just so crazy.

  • ITAS Trentino lost 3-0 against Ziraat....I am worried about the future of Italian volleyball

If Italian volleyball loses importance, then many Italian players will go to play abroad from a young age and will end up being naturalized by other countries.

Besides, let's be clear: African players (I don't mean Egonu or Sylla, etc., I mean TRUE Africans like Sillah and Keita) will always be naturalized by other nations simply because African nations aren't interested in playing volleyball (except Tunisia) and building strong national teams.

Now Italy wants to naturalize Keita.

In the future, if the Italian championship loses importance, a new Keita (or a new Enescu in the women's team) will go to Turkey and become naturalized as Turks.

I'm not a hypocrite, and I admit that strengthening a championship also means strengthening the national team through the naturalization of athletes from Africa (again: I mean TOTALLY AFRICAN athletes) or the Balkans.

But Italy doesn't seem to be interested in naturalizing... in fact, our damned Italian government has proposed a law to double the length of residency required to apply for Italian citizenship and has said it no longer wants to consider Italians even those born abroad to Italian parents simply because they were born abroad!

They literally want to pass a law that declares anyone who doesn't have Italian blood and WAS NOT BORN IN ITALY to be non-Italian, and if even one of these characteristics isn't met, for this damned government, you'll never be Italian.

  • :gone::sos::wall::aww:

  • Would you just stop? You are annoying other users by writing the same concept every day. You made your point. Don't turn into a Copravolley 2.0 :aww:

  • lmao the bullshits🤣

  • Some issues with his shoulder appeared after Christmas and during finals of Polish Cup. Probably that's why we see Henno as OP with some passing duties.

  • Rzeszow lost as huge favourites against the German team Luneburg. Luneburg, led by the Swedish duo Gruvaeus/Enlund, prevailed with 3-1. 18-year old mega-talent Axel Enlund scored 17 pts and Daniel Gruvaeus 20 pts. I am personally a bit stunned by this outcome, as Rzeszow on paper should be really superior to Luneburg.

Mmm generally this season you can expect anything from the Polish teams. The teams that finished in the top four the previous season, they lost a lot of their ''old power'' and became seriously messy.

  • Since Lavia has been injured, Theo Faure has stepped up, found his confidence and belief in himself and has become an emerging top OPP. His best performance to date was the CL match against Tours, where he carried his team with 40 points at 58% efficiency. The injury of Lavia and recent of Michieletto has been the best thing to happen to his development individually!

Mmm I am not so sure. I mean that even when Michieletto was healthy, he had some crazy %, but Sbertoli didn't feed him a lot.

  • Luneburg was defeated by Sporting, but 18-year old Swede Axel Enlund scored 24 pts (51% in attack). Daniel Gruvaeus, another Swede, scored 17 pts (68% in attack) and was the second best scorer of the game. This is a favourable development for Swedish NT, which has qualified for ECH later this year.

  • I loathe the attitude of Fornal…. Butttttt Berkay is tragic, definitely the worst receiver and defender in Ziraat compared to Clevenot and Fornal.
