Hosting of the games will be spread out over 10 provinces although there will be three main hubs. Women’s volleyball will take place at Huamark Indoor Stadium, Bangkok from Dec 10-19.

Vietnam has announced their team for the games. 4T will be back from Japan and 16 yo Bui Thi Anh Thao will join the attacking lineup. Their top setter Doan Thi Lam Oanh and libero Nguyen Khanh Dang will also be there.
The team will be without star opposite Nguyên Thi Bich Tuyen but experienced opposite Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh will be there. Dang Thi Kim Thanh is the second opposite. My favourite young player Nguyen Thi Tra My missed out 
The Indonesian team combines experience and youth, with Megawati, Mediol Yoku and Ersandrina DeVega leading the attack. Three youngsters who impressed in the recent Asian Youth Games are also in the team, tall middle blocker Chelsa Nurtomo, opposite Syelomitha Wongkar and libero Sulastri Aulia. However another promising youngster Junaida Santi was not included.
There aren't any surprises in the team from Thailand. As expected they've picked their top players in every position. Only Thanacha is not here, but they still have first choice opposite Pimpichaya. Other key players include captain Chatchu-On, Sasipaporn, Thatdao, setter Pornpun and libero Piyanut.

'Alas Pilipinas' is packed with talented young players, especially in their attacking lineup. Angel Canino, Shaina Nitura, Laure, Belen and Gandler are all strong hitters and are hard to defend against. Opposite Aylissa Solomon who plays for Osaka Marvelous in the Japan league is another player to watch out for. Experienced setter Jia De Guzman will be the team's playmaker.
Teams from Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore are not expected to win against any of Southeast Asia's big 4, but it's always fun to watch them compete amongst themselves.

Not sure why she's not on the list... maybe she has acquired Japanese citizenship, and given up her Myanmar citizenship.
