In set 5, Turkiye was leading 8-7, I went away to do something, when I returned the score was Shanghai 12-10, so what happened there? Errors by Turkiye? which Shanghai player contributed most points ?
Overall, I think they had a narrow escape. Turkiye is good at both attack and defence. They picked up a lot of points by recycling Shanghai's attack.
Huang Yuexin should be in the NT. Her reach, variation in attack and ball control is exceptional. Even her reception has improved. I think the way she handled the last shot says it all.
The team also has one of the best libero I've seen in China.

How they won that first set is a mystery !Poor reception, hitters not hitting, no blocking (except one, I think) setting going everywhere, middle blocker completely useless etc..

Not sure if any stats are available, if there are we'll post them here.
Uni California are a well organized team with strong hitters on both wings and good court coverage. However both teams were inconsistent... The uni girls led in each of the 3 sets but near the end of each, they wobbled and Shanghai took advantage of it.
