So sad

There were rumours of Fijok joining Voluntari. Actually a lot a of good players went there in the past. Is their league better, do they pay more?

Their coach is Giovanni Caprara, so a lot of players go to Voluntari because of him.

Dresden also said goodbye to: Grome, Winter, Akimoto, Van der Werff, Siksna and Entius.
-
-
Meanwhile, this article doesn't contain any real news but this forum has officially arrived at being quoted for transfer rumors in a newspaper

-
According to a paywalled article, Foley to Dresden might not happen. Anyone able to read the article?
Interesting. After the second final match, someone wrote that a "well-known DSC insider" (no idea who he meant) had confirmed the Foley transfer to Dresden. But that's all just hearsay, so I have no idea who to believe.

I could lose context in translation
but it seems like it's more.... assuming?
it says the Dresden deal could be finalized... but American options do exist..
-
The newspaper from Dresden which first reported about Foley's transfer is usually very well informed, so unless someone buys her out of the contract/she cancels it, I still expect it to happen.
-
The Tag24 article about the departures from Dresdner SC also mentions rumors about where these players might end up. The rumored teams of Miku and Emma were already known, and the article also mentions the rumor that Larissa Winter could go to Erfurt.
-
Schwerin has started following two more players from the U.S. on Instagram: middle blocker Bre Kelley and outside hitter Lauren Rumel. So, with Devyn Robinson, there are at least three American players on the roster for next season. Let’s see if they announce Rampelberg, Kelley, or Rumel next.
-
Since Rumel played with a German player from my region at Oregon State this season, I've started following her a bit and wanted already to ask if it's conceivable that she might go abroad. I'm happy that it might be Germany.
-
She played opposite for the U23 USA NT but she's not a good opposite
She's a good OH who can't pass
but who can pass these days

Schwerin already has Robinson and Kirchhoff as OPP so if it happens I think it's going to be as OH.

Just to warn you:
Dresden will present their first new player for next season in a press conference tomorrow.
So better get prepared for another flood of comments about the career-ending-decision of a specific german setter.

I'm not ready for that
See y'all the day after tomorrow

Voluntari is now leading Alba Blaj in the Romanian championship final series 2:1 by the way and can win a second championship already today.

She's back in Dresden. No special reasons named. She wanted to come back to the Bundesliga and she wanted to work with Waibl again.
Hate comments in 3, 2, 1....

USC Münster also announced a new signing today. They have signed German player Chalina Lederer for the middle blocker position. In Germany, she played for TSV TB München and TV Dingolfing. She then went to the USA to play college volleyball until the end of last year. After that, she joined the newly founded Mexican professional league. By the way, she was coached by Regla Torres at her club, Guerreras de Puebla.

Quite interesting that she played together with Emma Sambale both at TSV TB München and at TV Dingolfing and they both ended up in the Bundesliga with completely different paths.
Celine Jebens apparently also played for TSV TB München together with Sambale and Lederer.
