She's back with Sweden NT so I guess she's at least fully recovered. She wasn't really "good" before her injury either but for a team like Hamburg she'll do fine I guess.
That's surprising but I doubt she could make it in CL. Right now Suhl has a weak squad on paper.
I don't find it particularly surprising. She fits perfectly into the mold Suhl has established in recent years: a young opposite hitter who already possesses some international experience and has room to develop.
You also have to bear in mind that, despite their championship title and Champions League participation, Suhl isn't heading into the season with a massive budget. By their own account, their budget is 1.2 million euros. So, you can't really expect them to have a roster on paper that rivals those of Stuttgart, Schwerin, or Dresden.
Oh that's surprising.
So they need a 4th OH...
Erfurt is basically (VCO) Dresden 2.0 with Ziegenbalg, Winter, Stemmler, Lieb, and Goertz ![]()

Rylen Reid was announced today as the fourth outside hitter. Following her NCAA career, she finished last season in Turkey with Bahçelievler Belediyespor, a team that was clearly relegated. Commenting on her transfer at the time, @fire_erik_sullivan said: "but I wouldn't be surprised if she's just doing it for the experience; she's not really Turkish league level."

Her reception was bad (25% pos, 11% perf in 11 games) and she is unreliable on block ( 2 cm shorter than Yaprak Erkek for comparison). Had decent games only against messy teams.
Bad news from Münster. Amelie Strothoff will have to sit out the upcoming season due to knee surgery.
Considering the duration of her absence I suppose she suffered ACL? I wonder if she got injured in NT training ![]()
Hamburg announced ITA L Francesca Galuppi and USA MB Tierney Jackson for next season. Their team is definitely going to be more international, time will tell if it's also going to be better.
Don't know if it's correct to say Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt pulled up Zoe Jichová as second setter but last season she was already part of the first team.
It's nice that Erfurt gives her the chance to grow.
Wiesbaden announced CAN OH Julia Murmann. She played as libero in Canada NT though, but she'll definitely be OH in Wiesbaden.
22 years old Austrian Maja Nöhrer (OH) from Northwest Missouri State University to Skurios Volleys Borken.
Münster signs USA OH Madison Scheer as replacement for injured Amelie Strothoff.
Vilsbiburg announce their first transfer, they sign BRA S Laura Sertic De Prá.

One constant behaviour there is their tendency to hire South American Players, despite Brazilians are the more seldom ones.
