Congrats Ukraine beat Brazil 3-1. Semeniuk and Plotnytskyi were both great. As usual Bernardinho didn't have Arthur and Bryan play, didn't have Barretto in this lineup. Only had Maique as libero and Purezo receiver.
-
Where did Plotnytskyi come from?! I thought he had retired from NT

IIRC his "retirement" was more of having a disagreement with one of the higher ups of the Ukrainian fed (cmiiw). He's been playing good in Perugia based on comments in the Superlega forum
-
Brazil about to lose to Italy tomorrow if Bernardinho doesn't use his bench.

Good is an understatement. Both him and Semeniuk were outstanding.
-
Wrong move bringing Douglas to Week 2. They have the same style as Adriano. Should have brought Samuel and maybe Leo Lukas or Maicon.
As long as Bernardinho doesn't open up a position battle, this garbage is gonna keep going; there are players way too complacent in their starting spots.
Bernardinho not using Arthur Bento is like Carlo Ancellotti not using Endrick.
What a nice bday present for Darlan and Barretto. Barretto getting cut from the game was a nice present from Bernardinho.
Judson and Flavio were kinda terrible, so was Pinta in his few minutes.

Good to know (
). I did not keep up with the previous superlega season, but I do remember Oleh having a great season both in clubs and NT some seasons ago -
I was intrigued by Iranian guys’ hotness but maybe should have sticked with Poland vs Belgium because Belgium made a come back in the second set. Awful scheduling.
-
Gueye is having a superb match so far in every element of the game

oh thanks! Love seeing him back in Ukrainian jersey, he’s one of my favourite players

Indeed, it is a horrible schedule: France x Iran and Belgium x Poland are delivering.
Belgium has been playing a very well structured vball, recycling so many balls, taking time for counter attacking, etc. Their comeback in the second set was remarkable.
But they looked out of gas at the beginning of the third set.
In the other hand, even though I understand France need to do the transition, slowly, it seems their youngsters are struggling more than what Giani expected.
Slovenia vs Canada are currently tied too.
Jeez, horrible schedule again. -
Ukraine take the first set against Italy
-
Ukraine pulls off a sweep (gains ~16 points also). They've been impressive to start week 2
-
All. These. Serve. Errors
very happy for Ukraine, they played really good today. Italy just hadn’t decided to play?!? -
Belgium is a bit hot and cold, the one minute they’re thriving against China and the next they’re losing 4 points in a row
-
Wow what happened to Italy's men's team they got swept
-
Is it me or stream of Poland vs Turkey is kaput on VBTV?
-
Boladz is sooo overrated
-
Nasevich made few mistakes at the start of the match yesterday and was subbed immediately. Boladz made quite a bit mistake, constantly getting blocked and still keep playing. Grbic is biased as always.
-
Night matches are really delivering.
Poland x Turkey: 5 sets.
Slovenia x Bulgaria : the host team did a gutsy comeback in the 4th set, it really seemed they would grab 3 pts in this match, but now Slovenia is leading 10-4 in the tie-breakFrance x Cuba : it is looming to a 5th set. Despite playing at home, the Olympic champions are still showing the same level than in the 1st week, it means way too many errors and lack of communication in defence.
