wow congrats thailand

-
Shigihara was struggling to score in the fourth set. I don't know what else had to happen for her to be subbed off.
-
What Akbash doing holding off subbing Shigihara until the final point
-
Thatdao is monster but Sasipaporn has made Thailand sassy again. Way to go girls
-
It's a massive win for Thailand...
-
Ferhats needs to go, Japan is worse and worse and this is their new low, serving pressure =0, blocking is nonexistent and i don't even wanna to talk about setting, if this continues I'm afraid they won't even qualify for the Olp esp when others European teams are getting much better

Why was Sato left out in that crucial fourth set 🤔

His contract is already set until 2028

Idk, back in VNL, even when she was the worst player in court, Ferhats keep her while Shigihara didn't even get to spike a single ball, it's the same situation but with different player now, substitution only when it's pretty much over 🙄

Japan will qualify for the Olympics, I just know it. They are ranked quite high and next year, powerful hitter Melissa Valdez will most likely join the NT 🤔
-
Japan will eventually find a way to qualify, they better. But this has been an awful summer for them not the worse obviously nothing beats pre-Tokyo tragedy but still pretty bad. They achieved zero of their goals for VNL and continental.
-
Sakae might bring experience but Nakagawa could bring game change energy. I'm disappointed, almost don't even notice when they change setter

This team has no razzle and without razzle you can't dazzle

The setter situation is dire. Seki was inconsistent all througout idk if it's due to injury or maybe she's just not adjusting well considering she was so good at Busto.
-
I also think they are tired, Sato, Ishikawa and Wada I think have played almost all the matches this summer... maybe a little rotation would have helped.
-
Maybe sending Seki to Italy wasn't a good idea after all, she's still setting the ball half a feet higher than they should be, and idk about Japan guaranteed for a slot in Olp, especially if Thailand somehow beats China to get the ticket, the points deficit aren't that much, only 30-40 points, Russia is back, and more importantly Japan themselves is getting a lot worse

They also looked tensed and nervous, especially in that first set. Maybe it's the weight of expectations on their shoulders... idk
