  • Oh god i thought i saw Japan at their worst during the AVC championship last month but no, this is just embarrassing, Indonesia played well but the amount if mistakes Japan had is unbelievable. Do the players actively try to get Ferhat fired or they're incapable of playing well anymore?

  • What's the deal with this kind of blocking technique:

  • technique imported by ferhat

pretty sure you're kidding, but ... one never knows

  • Rock, paper, scissors

    Brilliant :rolll:

  • Quarterfinals tomorrow !

    (gmt+7)

    China-Vietnam

In yesterday's match Vietnam was let down by poor reception. They led Korea 21-19 in set 1 but lost 6 points in a row to Kim Da'in's serve. It was the same in set 2, the score went from 20-20 to 21-25...it was Kim's serve again. Eventually the match, which could've gone either way, ended Korea 3-1. Both Vietnam and China have the firepower and both teams need to improve on their defense.

    Thailand-Indonesia

In yesterday's match against Japan, Indonesia showed resilience in floor defense and good court coverage. Thailand have the edge but they shouldn't take this match lightly.

    Japan-Chinese Taipei

Chinese Taipei also have good defensive skills, but overall Japan is stronger. Somehow, I feel we still haven't seen Japan's 'A' game so far in this tournament.

    Korea-Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan have a strong attacking lineup but they are inconsistent. If they can raise their level, then we can expect an exciting match. Watch out for the two left handed players, Korea's no9 Na and Kazakhstan's no14 Syroyeshkina :cheesy:

  • The 20th Asian Games was officially opened today amidst music and dancing around a full size replica of the Nagoya Castle in the stadium, and to top it all, a dazzling fireworks display.

Volleyball players Thatdao Nuekjang from Thailand and Vietnamese Lê Thanh Thuý were selected flag bearers for their respective countries
