Crazy match in Gran Canaria. The local team was leading 2-0, but Melilla could make it to the tie break. In the last set, Melilla was leading 8-12 and Gran Canaria got it to 14-12, then Melilla came back 14-14 and finally the locals won the set 16-14.

Tenerife qualified for the play off as 8th in the last weekend and eliminates 1st ranked Menorca It's the first time (at least in the last 20 years) the 8th ranked team eliminates the 1st in the first round of play off. I guess the absences of Pascua and Sulser (both injured) helped a bit but I can see Tenerife advancing to the final, they are playing quite good.

On the other hand, Gran Canaria beat Melilla to tie the serie. They were able to overcome the absence of the local star Manzano, who is pregnant.
