    Poland vs. Canada 3:0 (25:22, 25:21, 25:13)
Poles played really good, all players.

I can't believe my Canadian team played that badly in the 3rd set, the passing was atrocious and they were desperate enough to use Dallas Soonias (natural rightside) at receiver and get aced multiple times. I wasn't able to catch the first two sets because bwin couldn't load the darn video (connection to server failed msg). Those two first sets looked a lot closer by the scoreboard. The only 3 players I was semi-impressed with on our side were Gavin Schmitt, Fred Winters and Dan Lewis. I'm glad Canada got spanked so hard in the 3rd, hopefully they can rebound hard for the next matches.

Please upload this match in the Multimedia section if you have it! :D

    WOW thanks a lot! :D

One of the greatest matches that I lost is the 96 Atlanta 5-set thriller between Italy and the Netherlands in the Gold Medal Final.

I vote for that as your next upload! Please? :P

Speaking of the Russian NT, what happened to Serguey Tetyukhin? He wasn't at the World Championships AFAIK. He is far more skilled and consistent than Kosarev and Abramov. Has he retired already from the NT?

    Hi everyone!

I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada and have played volleyball for more than 10 years. I consider myself a huge fan of the game and am constantly learning: I watch any and every bit of volleyball I can get my grubby little hands on.

I was a middle hitter when I was 15, then became mostly a leftside hitter. A painful hereditary illness kicked in when I was 19 years old, and I was bed-ridden with pain for about 4 years. Longest years of my life. As soon as I could, I made my way back to the volleyball court. :D

Now at 25 years of age, and playing the best vball of my life! Still constantly learning and trying to get better though!
