Nancy's maiden name is Nancy Meendering. She is one of the few players i really admire. She's just very very humble. And she's very cute. And she's a very good opposite player. I will be missing her in Beijing but i know she will cheer for the US. USA will definitely be missing her services but there are a couple of players who can do the job as well.

Im not jumping off my seat that Kazakhstan made it to the Olympics as this team plays more like a European-style. I want Korea to play in the Olympics to showcase what Asian Style is. Exceptional defense and quick plays.

I dont think the Top ranked teams will strut their best teams come grand prix since the other teams might scout for them. So i'd expect that the Grand prix will still be a showcase of top volleyball action but will be missing the top players in the world.

Metcalf will not play for the US in the Beijing as she is recuperating out of a shoulder injury/surgery. US will definitely rely on Haneef-Park at the opposite. Good thing Fofao's injury is not serious. She will definitely play a major role for Brazil's golden quest in Beijing.
