Thanks a lot.
Yes, I'm liking your country so far.Kyoto's fairly close, but too bad, I have too much schoolwork due on the next day.

I'm staying in Japan right now, but can't read Japanese. Does anyone know if some games are held in Osaka?
KYK beats Srbija 3-1
Hi there Anto, I stayed in Hong Kong for a few weeks before.
Where are you located?
thanks loca inside for uploading in YouTube.
I have a copy of this match in my computer, and I remember how frustrated I was with this match. Berg practically demolished the Italian floor with her serves.
really hoping the lo bianco will recover well.
Volleyball Manager's a great game. I've been playing it for quite some time now.
My only wish is for a women's league to come out.
the game's hard. can't seem to time the hit
basing on the compositions of the teams only, i think that the competitiveness and level of the italian cup has greatly decreased compared to last year.
GAMOVA beats Brazil.
Yeah, she deserves MVP that's given.
If Takeshita gets MVP, I will be surprised but not offended. The one in 2006 was too questionable. This time around, she, along with sano and saori, made her team reach the third spot.
Yey Russia!!!
I never liked the Russian game but I really wanted them to win this one.
Startseva is probably the least horrendous setter that Russia has had since 2005 onwards.
Gamova's back row attack is scary.
Kosheleva folded in the first set. Her inexperience was evident. At least on the second set, she was able to collect herself.
Fabiana is a good player in the crunch. She's a reliable scorer when the team can't score for some time.
I can't say that Brazil played a bad second set. Russia's main guns, Gamova, Kosheleva, and Sokolova are unstopabble if Startseva can get to the ball and give them a decent set.
There's only one word to describe the russian defense:
Funny.
Regarding Italy:
Serena Ortolani can be good. But her inconsistency is sometimes painful to watch. One match she hits at 60% efficiency, the previous match, she ended up with less than 20%. Their other opposite, Bossetti, is never the type to rake in points. Plus she's good in defense, I'd rather see her as an outside hitter.
Gioli has been the only player that plyed consistently throughout the tournament, maybe cardullo as well. I'm very disappointed with Piccinini. Her firepower seems to be missing. I expected better from Del Core, especially Lo Bianco.
Arrighetti did decently, at least they'll find a potential replacement middle blocker. right now, the country has four reliable middle hitters in Gioli, Barazza, Guiggi, and Arighetti. Not bad for a small team.
For the next match, I want Russia to win.
COMMENTS ABOUT THE MATCH:
Yoshie Takeshita IS the best setter in women's volleyball.
Saori could be the smartest player in the tournament, volleyball-wise; her recognition of the block and her ability to block tool is just in a different league compared to other players.
The Japanese defense is incomparable.
Berg is, I think, the most underrated setter; her performance in the Olympics was stellar. Now, her set choices are great, her ability to involve her middle blockers are better compared to glass. The only problem with her is that she goes for the second ball too often, and it sometimes causes erroneous play.
Teams with great defense are USA's weakness. Italy and Japan show how this team can be beaten, a great defense is the best offense when it comes to this squad.
for japan!!!
:C for japan
