Just from my observation, Larson seems to struggle more with passing for USA as the OH1.
She was almost exclusively OH2 the past several years with USA. She started the year as OH2 and Karch switched her mid-year to OH1.
Slightly differently look. Different responsibility on the court now. USA would need her to up her game to go far in the tournament.
the strategy is to have kim hill, the weaker receiver, receives on the left side 4 times and just twice in the middle court and have the libero and larson receives on the middle of the court most of the time,opponents cant exploit hill's reception too much and so team usa is winning games -
did china have a setter played as spiker against thailand,pretty insulting

thanks,for as long a she doesnt retire and i still see her,she got weak because of her injury and switched to setter

why is maiko kano,the prettiest japanese national team plyer playing setter for hisamitsu springs?

Poland is a team with old players that played their better years a long time ago.
There is not quality in that team and thing will get worse for them, before they get better.
those aged players still could have took Poland to WcH 14.. but seems there was some problems in the team such as : insufficient preparation,missing chemistry,motivation etc. im only sorry/sad for polish users here and the supporters in Atlas Arena..

You must understand that Sakoda must get that award because only in that combination Dominican Player got award.
Tour showed that Wild Card for Dominican was mistake as Everyone knew that before tournament only because of Their President so at least FIVB gave award to show that- Yes, only because of Mambru We gave the Wild Card. You see We did good She is one of the best OP in the World and stat shows that.

problem with hildebrand is if she gets the reception then glass sets her,,she'll hit it straight and gets blocked unlike others who have composure and skills to still attack effectively and scores

USA will get better. Alisha started to give Fawcette higher balls, but still fast.. Larson will be back.. the girls will practice more and get used to that kind of setting.. it's a new thing, you can't win when you try something out.. in 2009 they lost many many matches, they didn't even get to final round.. now they played much better.. IMO Glass is a monster she is everywhere on court and can set from everywhere.. Karch wants the sets to be super quick, so she had to do it.. if it was up to her, i think she'd go a bit more higher.. We'll see how it turns out.. even in 2010 Hooker was missing balls here and there and by 2011 she was killing it. So I have faith in this USA
usa will be weak till glass is there,,she aint setting the ball,,she just throws it to the player and let the player improvise with her ugly setting,,she is poor in making an effective play that will score,,she have her hitters always blocked with her sets,,and she doesnt have composure and gives away the set even if they had the lead near the end of every match,, courtney or carli lloyd should be usa's setter in the next matches,,
barnwarth is the key to their victory against japan,,she is stable and knows how to handle free ball unlike miyashiro that will shank a free ball
and kiraly,,he's better as an assistant coach,,usa should hire somebody else or get a foreign coach -

i also commend Kiraly for his luck on their last game or else whole usa will be really dismayed with usa performance this finals,,hehehe
