I know our chances are small but can you tell me what are the odds to get to the semis?
-
Bulgaria - Spain 3:1, with better coach we could be among the favorites, we have the players for that.
About 25:9 - this happens in women volleyball, bigger amplitudes than in the male game
You are so damn right. I hope whatever the outcome and position, they put a new one instead of Nesic. I'm not saying he is a bad coach but considering quality of players we deserve to be within first 4 teams. I still think he's the one to blame for our failure to make it to the WC.

Davai Russia! Davai davai!!1Make sure to add Russia when you write this, cos' it's the same phrase here in Bulgaria!

Such a thorough view on the sides, congrats!
Czechs proved to be a tough opponent even though they were out of the tournament. But in the end it was a classic finish and a 25-17 sending home! Great performance by youngster Bratoev on the opposite hitter who replaced Kaziyski and once again Zhekov at his best! I'm amazed of his totally improved digging. There were moments when i recalled winning the bronze at World Cup two years ago!

I'm glad Anne stayed with the team! Hope to see her soon in european tournaments!

Bulgaria reached the semis! I thought we could make it to the second round robin but this... It's just amazing! Applauses mainly for Elitsa Vassileva and Dobriana Rabadzhieva, they were great! And our team is comprised generally by CSKA Sofia players so i'm happy for them!

One of the most succesful days of bulgarian volley for a long time!!! After our men here is a 3-2 over Spain and a final four appearance!
-
Oh, what a win for us a couple of minutes ago! We beated Russia 3-1 (31:29, 16:25, 25:22, 25:20). Everything worked perfectly and the undeniable bulgarian spirit is back again! I knew it, and i almost predicted it - 3-2 in the prediction game.
-
I forgot to post my predictions sooner so i'm posting them now. Justyna should decide if I ran out of time. A long as I can see in the FIVB site, Finland - Venezuela is still not started. But you can count me off if you wish.

Yeah, finally they broke down. Not that Foppapedretti played weak, but it was a bad day for Skowronska and Jacqueline. Actually it was Kasia that made the final mistake in match. And it all went much easier for the visiting site when Piccinini entered the game and showed her best spikes
