yes Italy withdrew because of swine flu...our Federation didn't want to expose our athletes to any risk...they offered to organize the tournament in Italy but Fivb refused so Fipav withdrew the team...

Ok maybe i'm wrong...but i think that if Fenerbahce took someone like Piccinini or Kilic or Rinieri, someone good in receiving, the team would have been more balanced...Seda is an amazing OH, with a good reception and a setter as Naz also the middle blockers can play better...then Gamova is an amazing player, we'll see how things are gonna work out..

That's a great thing for Fenerbahce and a mistake by Eczacibasi...for me Naz is one of the most talented setter we have in volleyball...
Her hand was badly injured during the A2 season, so she decided to retire after that!
She didn't retire, she's actually going to train in Chieri because she needs to recover from the long stop dued to her wrist's injury...so this year she will be T.M and maybe next year she will be on court...
It was Ognjenovic's first season in Italy and it was very difficult for her.She said that coming to Italian league was quite a shock for her.She is aware that she wasn't playing well but she knows she can do much better.

I'd also like to know why not Feretti. She has great court vision and better defense then Lo Bianco. Shes quick on the court and doesn't typically have 'off' days.
nono...Lo Bianco is probably one of the best setter in the world and the best in Italian volleyball after Benelli...she has a natural talent and she's precious on the court also for her defense...if you have seen play-off matches these days you would notice that she makes the difference on the court. Ferretti is a very good setter, the best after Lo Bianco right now, but maybe she doesn't want to be a second setter so Barbolini called young players...i prefered Serena of Conegliano to Rondon or Di Crescenzo but that's his choice and i trust him...

i think she can play for serbian national team...but with middle blockers as Krsmanovic, Veljkovic and Petrovic it's pretty tough for her i guess...
