Most of us also comparing only the squads here, but this is very obvious that each Vakif - Fener matches are like the games everyone know the match score,Vakif wins.. They are also mentaly and physiologically better than us. They play against us like they already found the bug of the each game, sooner or later they win. Players on the paper can be great but other factors are important too. I hope Kazan beats Vakif then it can be easier for us to reach to F4

imo,Fb is also as experienced as VB....Vb's advantage will be its block..Vb is a better blocking team than Fb ( Leo-Bosetti-Elif etc..) on Vb's side every player is solid blocker
...when it comes to Fb its not like that.Fb's advantage will be its attack : Kim-Montano Vb doesnt have solid attacker like that duo....Both teams have a deep roster..both Gözde and Lucia are not in good shape ( due to tiredness,injury)
This is the part that gives me no hope against Vakif.. We did a good team but we forgot about blocking side.. Leo is too short and also in general we dont have good blockers..
Maybe if we play with the power of our fans, we can try untill the last point but i really dont think so.. Voleyball is not the game for suprises.. it is not like football etc. -
though i am a big Fenerbahce fan and we are playing much better at the moment, i have a feeling that we wont make the F4 unfortunately.
Vakif seems more solid and experienced than us. But if Kazan makes a suprise and beat Vakif then i think we have a chance for F4

you are right, and F4 is in Baku, I will not be surprised that gym will be packed for match Kazan - FB and that all suporters will be against FB.
I agree with you about most of Azeri people wont support Fenerbahce and support the russian team D.Kazan but you are just missing something, i am so sure the half of the tickets will be bought by Fenerbahce fans by so far.. Dont underestimate the Turkish population in Azerbaijan and how passioned fans we are and go everywhere in the world to support our team.. -

I think Kazan should get it, Fenerbahce shouldn't be like Belchatow.if this happens, i also think that Kazan would be the best choice. cos we already hosted f4 last year.

There are some rumours about Bakü doesnt want Final 4 organization right now becouse there is no Azeri team. Is this true? It also says that Kazan and Fenerbahçe would like to host F4 but Istanbul has a bigger chance at this point..
Is there anyone else who hear the same rumours? -

Two days ago Kazan's first lineup lost tough 5 sets battle to Proton in Russian League. Kazan just did not wanted to play another 5 sets game in Baku. So after giving up first two sets Kazan stopped playing in the third set. The plan worked like charm.
Anyway, I think that is how far Kazan go in CL. A team with just one player (Gamova) would not stand any chances against any of Italian team. Good run for Kazan.
I'm assuming that Fenerbahce would demolish Rabita in 3 sets tomorrow (or maybe 4 sets, whatever). It is strange to see the final four in Baku without a single Baku team. My guess the fans from Turkey would be very noisy in Baku. Hope their "soccer fans" would not show up.
of course not everyone of us are just volleyball fans. cos we are a sport club. we have 9 main branches and fighting for the title always. so this is sometimes causing problems at volleyball halls.
but we are getting better and better year by year, people know volleyball and its rules much better now. especialy at the matches in our home, there is nothing bad at all but some away games (like dresden game) we have seen somethings about out of volleyball

in turkish league games, we have to play with 3 foreigners and another setter. I mean, we play better in Europe but in local games, i cant not be sure that we will win VGSTT and Eczacibasi games or not..
This matched showed me how i am right..
we are very different without fofao and fürst.
