The draw in in first two stages is just pure comedy....
The group with Japan is so much easier ( I know that this is everyone vs everyone, but you always play better when you win your first matches...)
Japan will use the same tactics against Italy as they used against Poland in last few competitions - they want to play them on first day....
and match USA-BRA also on first day

Poland 7 blocks and 22 errors
Serbia 15 blocks and 7 errors
I was so nervous throughout the whole match and especially at the end. I didn't think they would make a comeback like that. It was the block that won this game and our players finally started playing defence. Maja Ognjenovic was superb and Natasa Krsmanovic played a fantastic match. On the other hand, I expected so much more from Bednarek.
I think that the easy draw they had hurt Poland because they weren't prepared for a match like this. And huge respect for Skowronska, she almost single-handedly won a set for Poland. But she didn't really have anyone to back her up.
Yeah Skowronska needs a backup but she almost missed this tournament ... 
We need to do something in our federation to get every year the top players to play in NT not like the last years when we are team with this COMEDY about injuries etc stories...
Other teams plays with their best players, we as usual don't
And we really don't should get another wild card with this attitude - and I don't mean this team (thanks to the girls which want to play in NT but I mean all the polish players which should be but they weren't in NT)....
I dont think Glinka comes back to Polish Nt.Poland should go on with Kasia as opp because Kasia is younger than Glinka.
but last years Glinka played as receiver....
But set and receive was terrible, so our MB couldn't show what they want. It's really sad day, because we won't go to the Olympics. We'll have got only one chance at European QF and it will be very hard.

Oh I heard it somwhere just rememberd about it but I already wrote my previous post... 
Poland and Holland have the same problem - bad reception and weak attack (only Flier and Skowronska right now...)
And i forgot to mention that Podolec should play in place of Bednarek in 3rd set she would maybe block someone... Bednarek was useless....
We need Werblinska and maybe Glinka or Jagielo (if they agree to come back...) in NT again or maybe Kasprzak...
Kosek is nice in reception but to many times get blocked and Kaczorowska is to weak... Jaszewska played good the whole third set till 24-22...
I think at 24-22 alle the sets should go to Skowronska and maybe then we would get a set and then anything could happen.....
Hope that final will be ITA-SRB
we need other players to come back to NT - especially OH....
but Skowronska great - others really bad (except Wolosz)

In some guesswork maybe Russians won't be playing with all they have, in fact they have to win only one match from remaining 3. Hope the best for girls, play your best volleyball maybe adding more accuracy
Oh I think that Russia will give everything they have especially after these two defeats this year in Sopot and especially the one in the Euro 2009 .......
My last post in this tread about "world championships" and the 'formula"....
For example:
Poland won 3 matches and lost 2 and go home
and let say for example Germany lost 3 won 2 and still will play...
ALL the matches should count likr it was in the past and hopefully it will be in Womens Championships
Poland played really two bad matches and they really deserve to be out right now (ok I know they won the previous group but even in the old formula after two losses they wouldn't have to many chances for good overall standing) .
Even if they would play Puerto Rico or other team they probably should lost too.
They lost the spirit somwhere between Triest and Ancona 
And Russia-Spain hahahaha
There are so many matches that are lost on purpose by so many teams in this tournament. The worst one since I watch volleybal (10 years)....
For some years I hated that all the big tournaments were in Japan (especally for the early hours and the fact that the host has always the easiest way) but now I really miss it and what Italy did this year is TRAGIC. I dont want to complain that Poland after winnig group got BRA or BUL, just want to say that when you play in WCH you should play 100 percent. In Japan in 2006 you had to be in the best 2 of 12 teams to get to the semifinal and every single game count and now....
The biggest problem is that those points will count for the next year and the formula of the tournament is horrible and nobody could have done anything about it.
Thank God that women will play in the "old fashion" way...
I think that FIVB should try the FIFA system in WCH - it could be a little better - butI dont think there is any chance for that.
