I watched Poland and Serbia yesterday. Serbia impressed me. I prefer them playing with Luburic because they play like a team.

I watched Slovenia and Spain too. Slovenia played with some different players but i like the way they played. Stern played really good. I just think that Ropret should have used more MBs. Against better teams they will need a better conection with MBS and playing only with OH and Opp can be really dificult for them against Bulgaria and Russia. Sket started really bad IMO but than he started to play better. He was really good in reception.

I am really curious how far Slovenia can go in this ECh. I wanna see them playing great volleyball as they did in last ECh.

Yes, the level here is not good at all

I watched yesterday Chile and Argentina and the game was funny but not high level.

Ramos as Opp is a joke. He cant score against a weak team like Chile. Argentina needs to find a solution to Opp position.

I would like to see Canada, Belgium and Bulgaria in F6. But if Poland win the game vs USA they will be there.

I really liked this WL, everthing can happen in this last round.

This is prolably the worst game ever of Deroo

Is Simon Hirsch playing as MB just here or did he change is position to MB?

Wouter ter Maat participated in the Korean V-League trials. Therefore he couldn't attend the first week(s) of preperation. He is out of the selection for WCQ, but the coach will make a new selection for the World League. Don't know if he will be selected then, because I think the coach didn't like the choice of Ter Maat travelling to Korea instead of training with NT.

I didn't know that. Thanks.

I would like to see Netherlands playing a WCh again.

I dont know why Ter Maart is not there, he had a good season in Berlin. I dont like Van Dijk.

Beside laola, anyone know if there will be another way to watch more games of european qualification? Youtube?

Any link?

German 22 player roster for Montreux: http://www.volleymasters.ch/de…ger%20germany/team_roster

Maren Brinker is the new team captain.

S: Denise Hanke, Lena Möllers, Irina Kemmsies
OPP: Louisa Lippmann, Kimberly Drewniok, Frauke Neuhaus
OH: Maren Brinker, Jana Franziska Poll, Jennifer Geerties, Lena Stigrot, Julia Schaefer, Lisa Izquierdo, Dora Grozer, Laura Emonts
MB: Jennifer Pettke, Berit Kauffeldt, Marie Schölzel, Juliane Langgemach, Leonie Schwertmann, Barbara Wezorke
L: Lenka Dürr, Anna Pogany

Hanna Orthmann and Sophie Dreblow are not in the roster, I assume they are with Junior NT during Montreux but will join senior NT afterwards.

What can I say...looks like Koslowski loves players that spent the whole season on the benches of their clubs (Drewniok, Neuhaus, Schaefer, Grozer, Pettke, Schölzel) and he doesn't like those who were on court and showed good performances (Tanja Großer, Sina Fuchs, Katharina Schwabe for example).

New players: Irina Kemmsies, Frauke Neuhaus, Julia Schaefer, Barbara Wezorke (Anna Pogany, Dora Grozer and Kimberly Drewniok have practised with the team last summer but didn't play any matches)
Returning players: Maren Brinker, Jennifer Geerties, Laura Emonts, Juliane Langgemach (she was with the team in WGP 2015)
OUT: Mareen Apitz, Kathleen Weiss, Wiebke Silge, Anne Hölzig, Denise Imoudu (I heard that she was invited but refused for this summer)

Great first set!! I hope all game can be like this

Why the gym is so empty

Jack attacking this high balls is so nice to see

Dunnes is playing amazing, but the game of United is a little bit boring.

Canada is a good team, but now they need to find someone who can be a option to Gavin Schmitt. The last two seasons was really hard for Gavin. A MB who can be a good blocker is needed too.

I did not know Bann, but i really liked him.

Canada played better in 2nd set, but not enough.

Portugal is still far, faaaaar from Elite level. The same can be said to the rest of the teams too.
Glad to see Canada going up to where they belong. Now I wonder how Slovenia will perform in Group 2 next year.

I agree. Portugal do not belong to 1st divison. I dont know when they will start to look to the future and introduce new players. Joao (OH) is the only newblood in Portugal, except setters.

About Canada, i see two problems: 1- they dont have a good Opp as sub. I hope Gavin can be fit in OG. 2- MBs are not so good in block, and that's make things harder from them, specially in their defensive system.

I liked Netherlands. They had a bad day against Portugal, but i watched some games and they had some good players. But i dont think they will get to 1st divison in near future.

Next year i just hope FIVB can change the rules (like they do everey year ) and Germany can be in 2nd divison. Germany deserve to play with better teams.

If Slovenia continue to plays like this, i see them in 1st division in 2018

São Paulo FC dropped their partnership deal with Funvic/Taubaté. Gavin Schmitt is probably not joining the team anymore due to lack of money (dollar rate is too high in Brazil right now). Leozão is likely to be their OPP for the remaining of the season. Rapha (S) also got injured, so Pedro will once again start playing for the team in Superliga until he recovers.

I read in this news that Taubaté did not give up on Gavin. It says that Schmitt has an injury and that the team is waiting to see if he will be ok soon. They will wait untill december to see what happens.

It makes sense since he had some physical problems this summer in NT.

I hope he can plays in Taubaté this year, it would be so nice to see him here and make things more unpredictable.

Yadier Sanchez signed with Taubaté. I think he is not good enough if this team wants to win Superliga.

any chances at all

And Cruzeiro played almost without an Opp. Wallace will need some time to be back to his best days.

What a great suprise

Cruzeiro played a great game. Wallace is not in his best condition, but he helped the team in 3rd and 4th sets.

Leal is a monster

It's too sad that we will never see again Leon and Leal plaing togheter in Cuba.
