Congrats to Russia!!!
The best MBs will come to my country, I want to meet both!
After 3 days Italy, Serbia, Turkey and Belgium are Favourites to reach Semi-Finals.
I don't think so...
Russia has two matches left, one is now playing against Slovenia and the first set won 25-14, easy for these girls.
The next match is against Greece, another easy match. At the end, they will have 11 pts.
Italy has 7pts, and even winning tomorrow by 3-0, they can't reach semi-finals.
Serbia and Russia are in semi-finals.
And finally Cuba returns to a YWCH since 1997!
Argentina won the Youth Panamerican Cup defeating Dominican Rep 3-2
Brasil is hosting the Olympics. Yes, it could be a "training session" for the Brazilian women's team, but they will be playing in the World Grand Prix before the Olympics. If Brazil had to qualify for the Olympics, there would be no doubt that they would participate, but it makes no sense for them to be in this tournament.
FIVB denied Brasil to participate in this tournament.
Brasil wants to be there because is an excellent preparation for the OG.
Tomorrow starts the Youth Panamerican Cup 2015 and will qualified the best team of Pool B to the YWCH.
Pool A: Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Dom. Rep.
Pool B: Puerto Rico, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba.
CSV Congress was some days ago. It will be held a Qualification Tournment in order to determinated the 2 southamerican teams in World Cup. It will be in Colombia, from May19th to May24th.
According to CSV web page, the qualification tournament will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
From June 1 to 7
It is not fair Brasil is out of this tournament.
Here in Peru are playing Panamerican Cup U23 : 1 vacancy for CSV and 2 for NORCECA
I don't know how but on TV and newspapers say Peru qualified to WCH U23. According to declaration of peruvian federation's president, Argentina and Peru agreed the winner of the match will qualify to WCH U23, Peru won the match in 5 sets but what would happen if Argentina ends the tournament in better position than Peru?
Is it possible this kind of arrangements?
Please let me participate!!!!

Peru lost today, but I still can't believe we lost in 5 sets against DR.
DR has players with a lot of experience and playing in great leagues. Peru only has peruvian league players.
Hope my team improves day by day, they are young. Best peruvian player was Maguilaura Frias (17 years).
S: Alexandra Muñoz (21 yo), Shiamara Almeyda (18 yo)
MB: Clarivett Yllescas (20 yo), Andrea Urrutia (17 yo), Coraima Gómez (17 yo - also OH)
OPP: Maguilaura Frias (17 yo), Rafaella Camet (21 yo)
OH: Angela Leyva (18 yo), Karla Ortiz (22 yo), Carla Rueda (24 yo), Hilary Palma (18 yo)
L: Mafa Acosta (22 yo)
Underline are players who will play junior continental championship.
Best players for me:
S: Kosianenko / Thompson
MB: Shlyakhovaya, Adams
OH: Zhu Ting, Kutiukova
Why Davis? WHY?
Always her bad passing in finals.
Why Nicole Davis still on NT? Can anybody explain me?
I think there are better liberos in USA (Miyashiro, Hagglund, etc)
I don't like her after OG final.
Stumbled across this http://www.fivb.org/EN/volleyb…TEAM=USA&TRN=WJ2007&sm=31 while online. Did not know Lichtman played for the Junior NT.
Also reminds me; Ashley Engle, OP/S, where is she, and why is she not playing for the US NT now?
I can't believe it!
Litchman, Gibbemeyer and Kelly Murphy were in that team.
Peru beat USA 3-0 in that tournament.
Now those peruvian girls are far, far away of the level of those USA players.
Roster for WCH qualifications:
Setters: Joanna Wołosz, Izabela Bełcik
Opposites: Katarzyna Zaroślińska, Malwina Smarzek
Outside Hitters: Elżbieta Skowrońska, Klaudia Kaczorowska, Aleksandra Wójcik, Izabela Kowalińska (also OP)
Middle Blcokers: Maja Tokarska, Agnieszka Kąkolewska, Kornelia Moskwa
Libero: Agata Durajczyk
Why only 3 OHs and 3 Opps? Where are Kurnikowska and Medyńska? They should be here some players are out because Pałac is fighting for league - it eliminated Połeć, Twardowska, Korabiec and Kaliszuk. Damaske, Bałdyga and Bednarek are out because of helath problems. On the other hand Moskwa and Smarzek can make her debut in NT
Main line-up it's obvious now: Wołosz - E.Skowrońska - Tokarska - Zaroślińska - Kaczorowska - Kąkolewska - Durajczyk (L)
Bełcik and Kowalińska should saty on bench, but Makowski may think differently
What? for WCH qualifications?
Is not Poland out of WCH2014?
To the referee or...
She is one of the best of the best!
