Lol i feel you try to find a way to make China champion instead of fairness
No. I'm not.
Brazil won and that's it. Some people are complaining now about this system, I just put an example.BTW... I'm happy Brazil won WGP. They played better. IMO Brazil will be world champion 2014.

Piccinini is needed. Costagrande is showing she's not international level player. I don't know if she's out of best shape or she's actually done as player. Italy plays well just when Bosetti is playing and the reception is good. Costagrande, Diouf, Signorile, De Gennaro are terrible right now, I like even Gennari more than De Gennaro as libero.
She's done as player.
2011 was her best. -
Otake is a really bad MB.
She's worst than Araki. -
The only way to get around this is, your match points equals your set wins. You win 3 sets, you get 3 points. You win 1 set, 1 point.
First tie breaker would be matches won, then points or sets.
Norceca has a system in which you get 5-0 points.
5 for a 3-0 win
4 for a 3-1 win
3 for a 3-2 win
2 for a 2-3 loss
1 for a 1-3 loss
0 for a 0-3 lossIt doesn't work.
According to that system, China will only get 5+4+3+3= 15pts.
And Brasil 20ptsNo matter if China would had won with 3-2, China would get 3 points and no chance to win the WGP. It's the same history.
The right system (IMO) is:
5pts for a 3-0 / 3-1 win
4pts for a 3-2 win
1 pts for a 2-3 lossChina would get 5+5+4+4= 18pts
And Brasil 20 pts
If China would had won 3-2 against Brasil, they'd received 4 points and Brasil 1 pt. (China 22, Brasil 21)
It would be fair to me... -
Have you got some types for team of tournament? According to stats it can look this:
Setter: Glass/Miyashita/Dani Lins
Opposite: Brakocevic/Murphy (Diouf is best scorer, but she's only 10th spiker, 4th OPP)
Outside Hitters: Gabriela/Saori/Zhu/Mihajlovic/Ebata/Hui
Middle Blockers: Thaisa, Xu/Rasic
Libero: FabiPersonally I'd choose:
S: Haruka Miyashita (she desrves it, not only good setting, but also great defender and nice server)
OP: Joavana Brakocevic (Kelly Murphy also isn't bad choice)
OH: Gabriela Guimaraes, Ting Zhu (Brankica Mihajlovic can be instead of one from these and it still will be ok ^^)
MB: Thaisa Menezes, Yunli Xu (Thaisa definitely the best one, Rasic can be ok instead of Xu, they are on comparable level during finals)
L: FabiI also think who can be MVP there, choice is so hard. I hope that FIVB won't behave ridiculous like at the end of World League
S: Dani Lins
(Miyashita is doing a great job, but it's not enough to be the best one, Alisha is playing pretty bad and she is not the same as in 2010)
OP: Brakocevic
(Sheilla hasn't played all the matches, and no one gets closer to Brakocevic performance)
OH: Zhu Ting, Gabriela Guimaraes
(Fernanda and Hui also could be, but Zhu and Gabi are the best according to statistics)
MB: Thaisa, Xu Yunli
(No more)
L: Fabi (it's obvious)MVP? Could be Zhu. She is the best so far.

I don't know about her back, but at the beginning of the match she was tipping all balls and I thought it was because of her hand injury, but later she attacked normally. She also moved fast and dynamic, so even if she has pain, she doesn't show it on court...
Thanks again Matthis.
My best wishes for Kosheleva. -
Marichev prefers Matienko now...and to be honest, her performance has been a positive surprise after the terrible moments she had whenever she got to play in Montreux...
Thanks Matthias.
And yes, I'm watching some videos and she is setting faster than before. It also surprise me but IMO Pankova is better.
And do you know if Kosheleva is ok? is she playing with pain? -
Somebody knows why Pankova is not playing?
Matienko is not good as Pankova -

Congratulations for Peru and MiguelNR Girls played almost perfect game today. I hope they'll keep it up in tomorrow's game against Serbia!
Thanks semisonic! ARRIBA PERÚ!
I hope the same too. Tomorrow is a hard match against Serbia, a tall team for us. Their main weapon is their block.
Tomorrow two DT women will face each other for one spot to semifinal.

So far Laola streams have matched the ones of Thai's SMMTV. This tv has scheduled Poland-Puerto-Rico and Thailand-China games. My bet is that these games will be shown by Laola and times will be changed.
I have big hopes that Frecuencia Latina will show Peru -Slovenia game, they say that it's a tv of volleyballThey will

PERU WON!!!
Peru 3-2 China Taipei
The best player: ANGELA LEYVA
23 KILLS
3 BLOCKS -
Yes, she definitely has a lot of potential, she's my favorite player in Peruvian team. I think Leyva played pretty well yestreday, she scored some very important points and IMO she's a leader of this team.
The situation with her injury was qiute strange. After jumping for block Leyva has obviously twisted her ankle, fell on the floor, was in pain. She tried to get up maybe, but made a very loud scream instead. She was helped off the court and I expected her to be substituted straight away. But strangely there was some delay, maybe 15 seconds or so and Leyva walked back on court and continued playing till the end and done it pretty successfully. She probably played with injury, so could make it worse, but I hope she will be ok. Waiting for news on that.It seems she had a cramp.
She is ok now. Hope she continue playing better every match.

Barbara Briceno, de Valle, Arnao Urrutia and Cristina Cuba are substitutes? These are the Players, who also took part at the South Am.
De Valle, Cuba and Delgado are also part of the Junior National Team, that have played in Czech this yearPeru best players are:
Angela Leyva (OH) (3rd best scorer Junior WCH)
Shiamara Almeida (S)
Rosa Valiente (MB)
Maguilaura Frias (OPP)
and Violeta Delgado (L)Del Valle and Urrutia are not good as Valiente, and Valiente was injured 5 months. Now she will play but she is not in good conditions. She's still recovering.
Frias and Shiamara also were injured too, They are still recovering.Barbara Briceño and Palma are the worst of this team. Both can help in some situations but definetly they are not good enough.
That's why Peru didn't win against Brazil, Argentina and Dom. Rep. during Panam Cup U18
Regalado was our best player in that tournament, she is 15yo and she will play youth WCH.
