Now the rumor is that Schölzel goes to Pinerolo.
There's also a rumour that Schölzel is going to race in Porsche's GT3 Supercup next season, if her legs can fit in the car

Nele Broszat, who was technically with Münster, leaves for West Virginia University.

I say technically, because she was officially rostered at Münster (and practiced there early in the season), while actually playing at VCO Berlin.
Every person with a clear mind would try to anticipate the first final match to Saturday, but I see zero chance that this will happen
Maybe I don't have a clear mind, but I already booked my travel to Stuttgart for Tuesday, so I really don't want this
More from Münster: Scholten (probably) leaving Germany, Schröder not yet commenting publicly on her future
https://www.muensterschezeitun…l-bundesliga-2744991?&npg
So many players leaving shouldn't be a surprise, with all the injuries the roster got so big that 7 isn't even half the squad...
Imagine if after the topsy-turvy mess of the quarters, the semifinalists just end up being the regular season top 4
Try me
Nederlanders uitgezonderd, natuurlijk
Iris Scholten announced that she'll leave Münster, but she hasn't announced her destination yet.
Church, Fleck, Van Clewe and Mogensen are under contract for next season, but I'd be surprised if Church really stays there after they signed Fleck.
Expect announcements re next season's lineup to start relatively soon now that Münster's season is over. They had an expensive 22/23 due to the injury situation, so have ended up rather stretched on the administrative side, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the contract processes (which for those not familiar with countries like Germany are rather extensive there) have been slower too. "No news" doesn't mean "nothing happening".
Not sure when Scholten is going to announce. I am however sure that no-one will pronounce her surname correctly
The stream has horrible quality again
I wonder if the pay streams are the same?
Yes
So I think the final order is:
Stuttgart
Schwerin
Potsdam
Wiesbaden
Dresden
Suhl
Münster
Vilsbiburg
Aachen
Erfurt
Neuwied
So Suhl leapfrogs Münster for 6th, Aachen needs to win the match to stay in it...
Ok...so if Wiesbaden wins 3:2 they won't overtake the 4th place?
Correct, they need to win 3:1
Wait...if a team has the same amount of points, the set ratio is decisive? Not the amount of wins?
First wins, then sets ratio
Dresden winning a set means that they cannot finish behind Münster, so the worst they can now do is 5th
So today is the big showdown for the playoffs, but as TV match we get Dresden vs Stuttgart (17:00 CET, stream)
I hope Dresden can put up some resistance and make the match interesting, for Stuttgart it's just a high level training match to keep the rhythm for the playoffs.
An article from Neuwied mentioned that Laura Broekstra will return there for next season.
For Dresden it could make quite a difference to their playoff draw, 4th place is far from certain (they need a point from this match, otherwise it depends on what happens later)
My brain hates doing maths, so here are the current numbers:
Münster has 23 pts from 8 wins and 32:39 sets
Suhl has 20 pts from 7 wins and 28:39 sets
Let me know the result of your calculations
If Münster loses 3-1 and Suhl loses 3-0 tonight, the sets become 33:42 for Münster and 28:42 for Suhl.
So in the final round, if Münster were then to lose 3-0 and Suhl were to win 3-0, both teams would have 23 points and 8 wins, and the sets would be 33:45 (~0.733) for Münster and 31:42 (~0.738) for Suhl.
So I think they are right, and Suhl losing tonight would not on its own make the result mathematically certain - unless Münster can get a point tonight, I think Suhl would still have a theoretical (but very narrow) path to p8.
If Suhl loses today, the playoff participants will be clear, otherwise the final decision among Suhl, Aachen, Münster and Vilsbiburg will be postponed to the last round of regular season next week
If Suhl and Münster get the same result in league point terms tonight, couldn’t Suhl still tie Münster on both league points and wins and beat them on sets ratio or ball point ratio after next week? Münster seem to think they need a better result (ie 2 sets even if Suhl loses 3-0) to be sure of the playoffs now
Lilly Topić will take a break from volleyball for health reasons:
Finally some good news for Münster on the injury front: Luisa v Clewe is back, and (according to a person familiar with the situation) will start tonight’s game
Münster will not play at Aachen tomorrow due to several of them getting the lurgy, combined with their already-bad injury situation
Edit: Aachen-Neuwied still on
