I'm not sure how do they see video challenge from the court, but from TV I had no time to see if the ball actually touched the line. There's a huge block of TV Screens above the court, you can usually see it pretty well from the court and stands but that one was pretty close!

I can just hear Tillie screaming nonnnnn! Zees ees not posseebuuul! Ze ball was ovère ze line!

Grothues watch: She's still on crutches and will be watching from the scout table today. Not looking good...
-
Maret had her scan this morning and she has no broken bones. That's all I can say for now...
-
Dutch injury update: Steenbergen's knee is much better and she's ready to play if needed. Grothues has injured her ankle and left on crutches, there is no official word yet but obviously it's quite painful.

From where I'm sitting I can see Maret and she looks comfortable enough

Why did I have to miss this game?!

Update: Quinta is definitely in, following a successful shakedown in this morning's warmup game
-
According to Google translator Quinta has a partially torn ligament in her knee. Doesn't say which ligament though...
EDIT: I checked again, it says "a little tear in the hamstring", and she is optimistic to be ready for OG.
The second translation is wrong, "kniepees" is the patellar ligament (between the kneecap and the shinbone), not the hamstring.
Obviously this is a bit worrying, but I'm still hopeful... And I'll still be going to Rio myself whatever happens. The players are heading over tomorrow.

If not then I'll video it

OK so I've haven't been on here too much the last couple of years but now that Stonemountains is about to retire, I'm off to Rio so I thought I'd keep an eye on this
Looking forward to watching some great action in the Maracanazinho with Jo
The Dutchies seem incredibly relaxed about this whole thing, but in a sense it's not surprising... The qualification rules are so stacked against European teams that they've made it the goals of their entire careers just to get there. Now they are, it's almost like the pressure's off. We'll see how they get on, but I'm there until the end...

And one thing...she gets so much criticism, so I think she should also get praise when she deserves it: I think Stoltenborg plays a very good
Omg, did you just say something good about a setter?

My head is still asleep... NL will qualify even if they lose this 3-2... Right?

Ah yes, the "sound off except when Guidetti is talking" commentator

That and that all of tge Kazakh players are called Kazakhstan

Can't stand the commentator's pronunciation of dutch names at NED vs KAZ match. Sluh-chess (Sloetjes), Bowsh (Buijs)? What the heck was that?
Actually these pronunciations are a lot better than normal... Not right but better
