She was playing in Omichka for a couple of months in the beginning of the season, but after Omsk practically collapsed finacially, she has returned to Kazan.
So officially the Final Four tournament will be held in Moscow between 25-26 of April. There are still 6 rounds to play. Moscow leads the standings with 40 points (they haven't yet lost a game), then Kazan (35 pts), and trio: Krasnodar, Uralochka (both 29 points) and Proton (28 p). The trio will play against each other in the coming rounds, so that should be interesting.
FIVB confirms the line-up for Women's WOQT in Puerto Rico: Puerto Rico, Colombia, Kenia and Algieria. So, no Turkey or any other unexpected team. I hope this is the end of this riddiculous soap opera.
In today's interview with Gamova on sovsport.ru site (very interesting, btw), she confirms the final Four tournament and adds that it will most likely be held in Kaliningrad.
Hmm, on the official site of the Russian Federation it still says that there will be Final Four tournament for the women's league on the bottom of the regular season page. There's nothing on the men's page. I've read the original article, that WoV based their news on, and there's NOTHING about women's league. Gian Luca Pasini, Italian journalist, writes only about the men's league and Zenit Kazan, who's currently leading in the standings and has virtually won the title. So that bit about women's league is, for me at least, disinformation from WoV.
I just read that the winner of Russian Superleague will be #1 in the first phase...very weird! Is that true?
It is, but for the men's league. There are no play-offs or anything, the winner of the first phase will be the champion. However in the women's league there will be Final Four tournament played between 25 and 26 of April (a week after the first phase ending). Semifinals and then on the next day final and the match for the 3rd place.

Natalya Goncharova scored 40 points (with 56% in attack

Joking aside, it was almost another day in the office for Natalya. She's 49% this season in the Russian League.

Ugh, I just can't with FIVB. Everyone knew this was a possibility the moment the competition format was announced.
Italian website oasport.it suggests it will be either Algieria or Turkey. According to them Turkish Federation is already working on getting their team to that tournament.
Also, president of Kenya Volleyball Federation says qualification tournament will be held in Puerto Rico, that's why they can't afford it (I imagine it would be the same if it was Tokyo).

Giuseppe Cuccarini is no longer the coach of Chemik Police. The assistant coach, Jakub Głuszak, will lead the team in upcoming matches.
CEV says it will be in Montichiari. In fact I think what Italian papers said it was that Montichiari didn't want to let Pomi train in their hall before the F4.. because as host you have the advantage of playing on your home court, which in this case is not Pomi's. So they will have as many practices as the other visiting teams

Does anyone know where will the tournament actually be held? CEV said no to Cremona (shouldn't they check first if aplying team has the hall to host Final Four?) and according to Italian papers Montichiari said no to making their hall accessible for the training during the FF.

Is Ulanova back with Kazan? I just saw her name in Dinamo's roster after today's game and apparently she was also with the team during the Champions League match against Uralochka. But I can't find any official news on Kazan's website
