She's very tall (around 1.90) and left-handed. The last time I watched her is about 2 years ago...well, let's say it this way, for Urbino she'll be OK I guess
Probably she was the cheapest setter they found

Urbino signed with 22 year old Croatian setter Bernarda Brcic and libero Luna Carocci.

How is Brcic? Is she ready for Italian A1 League?
Will Golubovic retire?
Greek opposite Maria Nomikou will play in Saugella Monza (Italian A2)
The rosters need to be updated!
Klineman -----> Conegliano
Sylla ------> Bergamo
Gennari, Stevanovic, Sirressi, Quiligotti ----> Casalmaggiore
Argentinian NT opposite Leticia Boscacci stays in Soverato(A2).
Finnish invasion in German league continues: VT Aurubis Hamburg signed 22 year old Finnish NT OPP Riikka Tiilikainen.
Next one will be Santa Claus
Anne Matthes has officially finished her indoor career and fully concentrates on beach volleyball now. She didn't get any offers that were good enough to continue as professional player, so besides playing beach volleyball she'll start studying.
Smart choice!
IHF Frosinone, 4th ranked team in A2, will replace Pesaro next year in A1.
In the meanwhile, Urbino's president Sacchi(the one who wanted to sue Paola Croce..) is desperately trying to pay all debts of 2012/13 season in order to be admitted in A1 ... but there are people who still claim payments even for 2011/12 season like Ivana Djerisilo. She wrote on Urbino's fan facebook page: "I got only one payment for 2011-12 season". A member of the staff wrote the same, that he didn't get fully paid for his work 2 years ago.
Another shitty shame is Torino which ranked 6th last year, but that 6th place was a real robbery since they achieved it without paying their players. According to some sources, after the fusion Torino and Giaveno together have an amount of DEBTS of several hundreds of thousands €...
So I truly hope No more Urbino and Torino in Italian League!
According to roumors Pavia(A2) has confirmed Renkema and signed with MB Devetag(ex Foppa).
Where will Czech OH Kossanyova go? I think she'll become a World Class OH, would love to see her in Italy!
Alix Klineman officially in Imoco Conegliano.
Alessia Gennari will be announced and presented today by Pomì Casalmaggiore.
She was asked by Chieri Torino to stay there but she said No.
Bursa BB signed a contract with Kenny Moreno Pino. Good luck!

She wanted to retire...but Turkish money changed her mind
Italy will win!
Italy C beat Turkey A
Not really Italy C: Arrighetti, Diouf and Lucia Bosetti will be in starting six at ECH. Signorile, Barcellini, De Gennaro and Folie probably their back-ups.. so I'd rather call it Italy A/B but much more new and experimental compared to the Turkish one.
Eczacibasi can count on excellent MB next season, probably the best couple of MB worldwide, but it may be not enough to win CL. The best Turkish team next year will be Fenerbahce, no doubts, but it won't take part to CL so Vakifbank and Kazan have big chances. Especially Dinam Kazan that has well fixed reception line with my "friend" Del Core and confirmed its great spikers.
I don't think Galatasaray will have chances because of their terrible reception, Azeri teams lost many important players and also Dinamo Moscow didn't make so smart transfer choices.
So Vakifbank and Dinamo Kazan are the favourite teams IMO.
As for Italian teams, Piacenza could aim at Quarterfinals and maybe at Final4 with a lucky drawing of lots..
Congrats Italy! It was a very interesting game.
I hope Neriman can come back soon, she is definitely missed. I dont like Barbolini, but I think it is hard to say that Turkey level dropped with him just yet, it is just begining of seaosn...players are still not in their best shape...and so on.. lets see how goes from there.
Well, Italy played with a very experimental team except Bosetti and Arrighetti while Turkey had almost all their best players and really wanted this Gold Medal for the 2nd time in its history. I think one year ago Turkey coached by Motta would have won Mediterrenean Games with no problems against Italy.. but now with Barbolini as coach this team seems to have lost hunger, typical consequence when you give him the guide of your team
I have the feeling that Turkey's level drop a lot with Barbolini
