No Spiridonov and no Berezhko :aww: No fireworks then.

Biryukov and Khtey is enough ;) They have also Ilinykh and Sivozhelez isn't bad ;)

Probable Czech roster for ECH (I found it on official site of ECH):
    Liberos: Jiří Bence, Martin Kryštof
    Setters: Lukáš Ticháček, Peter Zapletal
Middle-Blockers: Aleš Holubec, Jakub Veselý, Michal Rak
Outside-Hitters: Jiří Popelka, Marek Novotný, Michal Hrazdíra, Ondřej Hudeček, Petr Pláteník
    Opposites: Jan Štokr, David Konečný

Russian coach Vladimir Alekno announced 15 players group who will train in Anapa before ECH.
    Liberos: Alexander Sokolov, Valery Komarov
    Setters: Sergey Grankin, Alexander Butko
Middle Blockers: Dimitriy Muserskiy, Alexander Volkov, Nikolay Apalikov, Dimitriy Shcherbinin
Outside Hitters: Taras Khtey, Yury Berezhko, Denis Biryukov, Alexey Spiridonov, Dimitriy Ilinykh (also OPP)
    Opposites: Maxim Mikhaylov, Maxim Zhigalov

Unfortunately there is not a big chance for him to play on ECh. It's a shame. He's crazy so I like him.

I heard that instead of Berezhko and Spiridonov coach Alekno called Evegeny Sivozhelez.

And later overall voting from bests from different NT's :D

They never give two wild cards to the same continent. I'm not judging if they should or shouldn't, but there's no precedent, so I think it's rather unlikely.

99: Peru and Italy (female); Spain and Canada (male)
03: Dominican Republic and Italy (female); Serbia and Egypt (male)
07: Dominican Republic and Poland (female); Bulgaria and Korea (male)

If it will be like you said main candidates are Dominican Republic and Poland. If Dominican Republic qualify by NORCECA second probably will be Cuba. I don't think that Poland will play in final ECH, they are better teams in Europe. Other possibility instead of NORCECA team could be Korea or Thailand (if won't qualify).

Poland got one wild card for sure.I think the other wild card must go to another European team.Everybody(except FIVB) knows that European Championship's quality is higher than even World Championship. 2 best team in ECH will go to World Cup so FIVB must give the 2nd wild card to team which will finish 3rd in ECH.

Totally agree! In Europe there are so many good teams: Russia, Italy, Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Germany, Netherlands. Also other teams like Croatia shows good level. From Europe 3 best should advance, although Poland probably will get one wild card, if NT isn't in final .

    Russia roster:

    S: Startseva, Ulyakina, Matienko
Attackers: Gamova, Goncharova, Makhno, Fateeva, Burkreeva, Pisarenko
    MB: Borodakova, Morozova, Perepelkina, Merkulova
    L: Kuzyakina, Vekshina

Roster almost the same as in WGP, Maybe Kuzyutkin will have to try Vekshina and Pisarenko. Roster wouldn't be better becaues of injuries main liberos and Kosheleva also Sokolova won't help team ;(

    About situation in Fenerbache

Sokolova may have to change the team.
Russian volleyball player Lyubov Sokolova told about the problems in volleyball "Fenerbahçe" which were the result of a huge corruption scandal in Turkish football.

"We are now at the club have a problem and we do not know how they decide. Football began to curse the president and the president - this is our sponsor. Therefore, if all goes really bad, you'll need to change the team".

So situation doesn't look good due to corruption in football
