    Finally!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!
And, Poland is clearly CLEAN, no unfair judges, no over complaints. Just they play, they save, they spike, they win this set!!!

all players must do this well, it is a volleyball basic, at least a simple pass - not a big deal!

Right. However, since MBs will face more settings(at least more than opposites and receivers), they should be skilled with some higher techniques.
Kosok's first set for Gruszka is to high and slow and apparent and Gruszka has no way but be blocked, and his 2nd back-set for Kurek is too close to the antenna for Kurek to spike. They're pities.

Gruszka is the GOD of the game! I've never ever had any idea a player just suffered from serious injury can recover so well and blast every points!!!

I think people are allowed to talk against us if there's any justification.

I don't consider myself an ufanist, a too passionate fan. I despise, for instance, actions that the brazilian team has made in the past. It embarrased me. But I think some people are being really unfair about Brazil in this tournament. The whole championship had crazy referee's problems. All teams suffered because of that. So, to say that this will be a fake victory, I think it's disrespectful. I know most people in this forum was rooting for Argentina and I respect that. I like Argentina a lot also, mind you. But maybe we shouldn't let our passion carry us away. Brazil's been the best team in the world for 10, 11 years now. That's a fact, that's not a twisted version. Today, they proved that again, by defeating a really really good, though inexperienced team. Referee's mistakes were made, yes. But to both sides. If we don't wanna acknowledge that, I think we're blinding ourselves.

you're right. Argentina lose definitely due to their own shortcomings. And this is the game, nothing to blame. I would apologize for what I just said. It was totally emotinal.

I'm wondering why BRA players are all professional in acting, when they really touched the ball, why they don't feel nervous or sorry, they just raise their arms and ask for an out-without-touch. It's ... ridiculous!

i just saw one mistake. the two close calls, where weber complaint the most, the referee was completely right,

Right, there are 3 mistakes in total, including just one during the tiebreaking as you mentioned. but this is a 2-0 difference.

I want to say all discussion about the referees is really meaningless. Has anyone watched a totally clean NBA game or a football match without disgusting red card. Misjudgements are part of these games. All we can do is to find a relatively fair rule, however, there will never be any absolutely fair.

I do think the matches yesterday, Bulgaria vs Italy and Poland vs Argentina, were remarkable matches, though with several misjudegements. However, these calls are not so many to overwhelm the losers. Italy played really bad and Argentina set the backup squad. And what's important, the tiebreakers of the two Poland games were definitely clean, Polish team deserves the win in the end.

The match between Poland and Bulgaria was very unstable if we are talking about level of play. But it was full of emotions, nerves and drama. I was really frightend we would lose it in this amazing tie-break! It reminded me the game POL-BUL in female ECH in 2007, when Bulgarians were leading 13-8 and lost 13-15  .
Great game by Kurek, very good by Ruciak and Ignaczak. Nobody mentioned Nowakowski who was outstanding yesterday and scored 16 pts  One of the best games in Polish NT by him. On Bulgarian side Solokolv was the most dangerous with his powerful attacks and serves.
Bartman's injury is a big problem for Poland. Jarosz has been doing very bad lately and nobody knows Gurszka's shape...We don,t have power in attack and Kurek can't win the gamy by himself - he is just a men and needs rest. Oh, I think we will lack Bartman badly :( After all he is a player with character and we need such guys in the team. Jarosz's mentality is completely different and Gruszka is a "nice guy". I think Poland needs such a "bad guy" like Bartman sometimes.
Referees were terrible indeed. So many mistakes on the favor of both teams
Well, it is great, that we won it - another win in Polish-Bulgarian duels history :) Today Poland-Italy: a special game for Anastasi :whistling:
Too bad Cuba didn't manage to beat Brazil. If they have done it, Brazilians could have real problems in the F8.

Any updates about Zibi? How's he feeling now? He's indispensable. I really love to see Kurek&Bartman wing-spiker group!!
