And why Kabeshova??? -
I thought Salonpas Cup was cancelled this year??? A German team (I think Schweriner SC, but I'm not sure) was invited there but they wrote on their website that the tournament was cancelled :o
-
Joana, do you know why Grbac refused to play in Junior WCH?
-
Is it true that from 2009 on 16 teams will play on WGP?

Serbia spoiled two match points, first Nikolic touched the net when Guiggi spiked out, then Cebic tried to defend an attack of Ortolani that would have gone out as well.

Sendspace ALWAYS tells me that the free service is at full capacity :cry2:

Transfer of Atika Bouagaa to Besiktas Istanbul is official now.
Daniela Lanner Mapeli from Hotel Cantur signs with German team RR Vilsbiburg.

Mello wanted to take a year off from NT in 2003, then Bonitta said if she does not play ECH (in 2003) she won't play Olympic Games either.
-
The Ger-Ned rivalry also exists in volleyball. There's no hostilaty at all between players, many Dutch players also played in German league, but both teams are extra motivated when they play against each other (bronze match ECH03, 2nd round match WCH06...)

Quote from "WIELKI_ZNAWCA_PIERWSZY"
Acosta gave clear reason why Poland will play in WGP 2008.
Oh yes? Please tell me what he said.
Please don't get me wrong, my problem is not that it's Poland who is directly qualified but in general FIVB's actions. LothiePG you said WCH was quite fair, well of course they can't manipulate everything but I don't think it's very fair that Japan was in a ridiculously easy pool, not to mention the MVP choice.
-
You guys do know FIVB don't you?? They care for nothing but money, for them it doesn't matter who is European/World/Olympic champion, money is what matters. When they give a wild card, why do they give it to the European champion (the OLD European champion who has yet to defend its title) and not the World champion? Sorry but you can forget these arguments, it's all about money in FIVB.
-
Money makes the world go round...and it looks like Polish federation has enough of it to enjoy FIVB privileges whereas other European teams don't...
-
If I were him I would leave Aguero, Lo Bianco and Barazza or Fiorin out...I think this decision of CEV is so totally idiotic!
-
Guidetti will take 13 players to Turkey, he has not yet decided which one will not play.
Setters: Weiss, Apitz
Opposites: Grün, Steffen
OHs: Bouagaa, Dumler, Kozuch, Brinker, Beier
MBs: Fürst, Ssuschke, Radzuweit
L: Tzscherlich -
I don't think Artamonova will play. The countries have to send a list of 22 players to CEV, so they just add some random names. E.g. in German roster there are 4 players who probably don't even know that their names are on the list :wink2:
