Since we have reasons to assume that Jan Sobieski is just a new account of Onur Karacil and both accounts only spread weird nonsense, they're permanently banned.

Since there's no new topic (yet?), I'm going to ask here:
I saw on Volleybox that Schwerin's junior setter Paulina Ströh is going to play for Illinois Chicago University. They seem to have plenty of foreign players in their roster but are they any good? She's a fairly talented player but so far hasn't been good enough to make up for her lack of height, so I wonder if she can take the next step or be another one of those eternal talents.

I see Jegdic is in training as well, any info yet if she'll play week 3? IMO she's still Serbia's best libero when in shape.
-
Apparently Wiesbaden signed SRB OH Sara Pustahija. They registered her on VBL website.
They officially announced her now.
Jovana Dordevic stays, Marlene Rieger will play for Nawaro Straubing in 2nd league to get more playing time.
-
Pia Kästner has joined NT training already
She's not registered for VNL so I thought she was going to be back for ECH preparations, but good to see she's practising again already. If she's healthy there is no doubt she'll take Kohn's place in the team eventually.Meanwhile Corina Glaab is on vacation on the beach somewhere, so it doesn't look like she'll be back with NT this summer. AFAIK there has never been any official info on her injury.

Schwerin announced USA MB Breanna Kelley.
Since all rumors turned out true eventually, I expect them to announce Rampelberg next.

She's best oh in slovenia in last years only now behind sillah
I don't think so. She has always been Chiappini's favourite for whatever reason but IMO she has at best been a very average player. Pucelj, Lorber Fijok and even Siftar who currently seems a disappointment have much more potential than Scuka IMO.

i would just say, fuck the professional team that don't have 14 players
Some German teams have problems to afford 12 players

There is also a rumor about Iris Scholten going to Dallas...
They announced her now.

The DSC article Aus der Talentschmiede in die Bundesliga: Lena Olliges und Emilia Schaarschmidt verstärken DSCVOLLEY makes no mention of a complete squad. I do not know why the press release sent to the DPA might have stated something different.
I had understood the statement from Suhl to mean that a squad of 14 players is mandatory for Champions League matches. If I misunderstood anything there, users from Suhl are welcome to correct me.
I'm not sure if the rule is still like this, but in the past there was a financial fine from CEV if the number of registered players for a match went below a certain number, but back then it was 11 or 12. But even if it's still like this, Dresden can simply take some random junior player to their CL matches, it will still be cheaper than signing a 4th MB.
This article also says Dresden is complete and they're usually VERY well informed.

Did I miss something? To me, the article on the DSC website doesn't indicate that roster planning is complete. Bearing in mind Suhl's statement about a 14-player squad for the Champions League, I continue to assume that a middle blocker is still missing.
This article says that the roster is complete.
They can still add junior players from VCO Dresden to have 14 or more players in the roster like they do every season.

Dresden complete their roster with two players from their junior team, setter Lena Olliges and libero Emilia Schaarschmidt.

The mass escape from Europe starts to scare me

One constant behaviour there is their tendency to hire South American Players, despite Brazilians are the more seldom ones.
They've had plenty of Brazilians over the years. I guess Gallardo has good connections to South America.
-
Yeah I also don't think she means she ends her career, rather she'll be missing volleyball as long as she can't play due to the injury.
The post also says it's not the same knee as last time.

Vilsbiburg announce their first transfer, they sign BRA S Laura Sertic De Prá.
-
Münster signs USA OH Madison Scheer as replacement for injured Amelie Strothoff.
-
ungureanu had an acl in his last match
So sad romania is close to go to WCH next year
I hope she recovers for be there
I moved the post here because I think it fits better in this topic.
IIRC she had ACL before, not sure if it was on the same knee though. Her screams have been agonising

There are three women from the coaching staff in the photo: the doctor you mentioned, the physiotherapist Florentina Robert, and an unidentified woman.
Maybe she's a statistician?
I guess you mean the one besides Bregoli? She's Ceren Mutlu, manager of Potsdam and apparently she was with the team in Ankara instead of Florian Völker. No idea if she's permanently attached to DVV.
