Araki,Sakoda and Nakamichi will surely be back....i think they didnt play in the WGP to give way to some new players and gain international experience..i wish Nana Iwasaka should try to do slide attacks she has the height and make her more versatile...i'm very impressed with Haruka Miyashita..Japan NT has bright future on her...

what about Sarina Koga...She's in the list of the Japan NT.. she played in Alassio Cup...im really impressed with her...hope manabe will start to train her and give her more playing time...shes young and will continue to be more better i tihnk

Yeah, but in statistics Ebata was one of the most helpfull players (i mean she gave the team 24 points, and that's good :))
I hope that too, japanese team need more experienced players like Nakamichi and Erika, and what is more, I think, that Nakamichi has a similar style of play like Takeshita (and both of them are 159 cm growth :D)
I'm thinking that coach manabe is trying more new players and giving them more experience playing in a high level tournament like the grand prix..maybe he's giving hitomi nakamichi and erika araki a bit of break or play in another important tournaments...its time for these new players to play well and impress coach manabe...so who will be the main setter? is it haruka miyashita or naoko hashimoto?

I saw her in the roster of Japanese youth girls for this competitionyeah its in fivb website, but she's not included in the Japanese website recently...so i guess the one on the FIVB is a wide roster but not the final 12 players that is posted in the JVA website..

Pool B looks strong: China-Poland/serbia-Japan and Greece.this generation of Greece has a good team.i wonder about Chinese and Japanese teams..
Japan team won last year's Asian girls youth volleyball championships...beating china in the finals that was held in china...so i suppose they are stronger team...but sadly Sarina Koga is not the roster for this year's world championship, she's the main weapon then..i'm thinking its because she's in the Japanese Senior NT already..

Saori Sakoda is not in the list in the 3 day match with USA...not even in the pictures on the link that ozaki posted..so i reckon she's still in japan

For those who were able to watch Japan live, are there Kimura-likes in the team? Or there are no outstanding Japanese youngster.
There are some good japanese players like Aya Horie,Arisa Inoue and Sakura Doi who played well i think...Sarina Koga from the Japan youth team is for me is the Saori Kimura like...she's 16 yrs old. and already in the Japan Main Team...

China were just really strong...they deserve it...I felt sad when i saw the japanese started to cry after their defeat...2nd place still something to be proud of JAPAN team...:)
