KOR won the other semi, beating JPN B team.
i'm not familiar with any of the JPN players, anyone knows them?
I know only Riho Otake, she played in the national team last season (during the 2013 FIVB Grand Prix & Grand Champions Cup) as middle blocker. Also, Saori Takahashi and Arisa Inoue were tried in Montreux this year and they played quite well. -

Really early so continental championships should be organised at latest in July/early August, while WGP should be even earlier...
If European Championship will be from 26/09/2015 to 04/10/2015 and World Cup will be from 22/08/2015 to 06/09/2015... What will be the qualification for the World Cup in Europe? For men is the same question.
In World Cup 2015 will play two best-ranked teams from each continent, host and the 2014 World Champion. Continental confederations could organise addictional qualification tournament to World Cup, but in 2015 it's impossible. It'll too many matches & competitions So, the FIVB ranking after 2014 will be very important.

We'll see how these liberos will deal with it... I prefer Sato as starter, but why didn't they get Sano rest throughout GP and call her back right now
btw. what's with another Japanese L, Kotoki Zayasu is she injured/retired/pregnant I haven't seen her recently.
and what's with Akiko Ino
I know that Kanari Hamaguchi retired
Unfortunately, Akiko Ino also retired after 2013/14 season She wrote it on her official blog. Kotoki Zayasu was 2nd libero in Hisamitsu Springs, so she was worse than Sayaka Tsutsui. -

Japanese roster (15 players, so 1 will be out)
S: H.Miyashita, H.Nakamichi
WS/OH : M.Nagaoka, S.Kimura, M.Ishida, A.Takada, Y.Ebata, S.Sakoda, R.Shinnabe, Y.Ishii, M.Uchiseto
MB: M.Yamaguchi, K.Ono
L: A.Sato, S.TsutsuiIt's very similar roster to Final Six, but without Sano (Manabe said, that she is tired of season)
However, Sakoda is back, finally! In my opinion the last player who will be out could be Uchiseto or Takada.

I think that Sano as MVP is good choice. Her spirit and play in defense are still incredible.
Congratulations for Japanese team. The tactics, called "Hybrid 6" was a success. Moreover, I'd like Japan will better during World Championships Fortunately, they have easier way to third round -
Congratulations for winners and Prediction Game Moderator! Very good job!

" The winner of Group 2 will move up to Group 1 in 2016, but will not qualify for the 2015 World Grand Prix Finals."
It's very important info. In 2015 FIVB WGP USA and five best-ranked teams from preliminary round will play in Final Six
