About this rule, which I found quite stupid, as the league is becoming more spectacular every year also thanks to the foreign players, Imoco and Novara protested. Conegliano said that they won't partecipate to the european competitions if the rule will pass, Novara's president said that the league is more competitive also thanks to the foreign stars.
I think they're right, there are many players that are developing in Italy and the level is getting higher and higher, thanks to Club Italia the young italian players are developing too.. the rule is stupid to me!
I agree with you, and I also find that this rule won't permit to young players and young talents to rise up, I found more useful to have 3 Italians on the ground during the match, but one of them has to be under 21 (this is my opinion, I'm not trying to impose my view about it)
Ofelia Malinov official to Conegliano.
Seems that Bolzano could be in Serie A1 2016/17 because there are rumours about a sort of "crowdfunding" joined by sponsors, partners, local administration and some privates to try saving the team for next season (their possibilities are not so high, but there's a little hope)
As easily predictable (her boyfriend is a member of the staff), Moki de Gennaro officially confirmed in Conegliano: http://www.imocovolley.it/moki…lice-di-restare-allimoco/
Samanta Bricio (Mexican NT player) will play in Conegliano next season.
Anna Danesi officially in Conegliano
Well, maybe Efimienko?
Not only Skorupa in Conegliano...for this article, also Rahimova is linked with Imoco
So no NT?
As he said in an interview in Piacenza after 3rd match, he only want to do a single job (so Imoco or Italian NT)...now we have only to wait just to understand if he was saying the truth or not
Davide Mazzanti officially confirmed on the bench of Conegliano for next year.
It seems that Conegliano is interested in Kimberly Hill for next year. (Besides Kreklow, Danesi, Folie and Tomsia)
This is the qualification ranking:
1. Winner of the Scudetto (Italian Playoffs);
2. First team in standing of the regular season, if not winner of the Scudetto;
3. Finalist team of Scudetto, if not first team in standing of the regular season;
4. Winner of Italian Cup, if not a team mentioned at points 1, 2, 3;
5. Best team in standing at the end of the regular season, except from teams at points 1, 2, 3;
6. Best team in standing at the end of the regular season, except from teams at points 1, 2, 3, 5.

The why Pomi is qualified to CEV CUP of they didn't reach the semifinals? Shouldn't it be Modena?
No, because the European Cup qualifications aren't based on the Italian League playoffs, only on the standing of regular season.
So, I'll explain you all the qualified teams:
Imoco Volley Conegliano -------> Champions League 2016-2017 (winner of regular season)
Rebecchi Nordmeccanica Piacenza--------> Champions League 2016-2017 (finalist in the playoffs)
Pomì Casalmaggiore-------> CEV Cup 2016-2017 (first team in standing after Conegliano and Piacenza, also winner of the Champions League so I find it very strange not to be qualified to Champions cause they are winners of the last edition)
Foppapedretti Bergamo--------> CEV Cup 2016-2017 (winner of Italian Cup)
Igor Gorgonzola Volley Novara---------> Challenge Cup 2016-2017 (second team in standing after Conegliano, Piacenza, Casalmaggiore)
Why is Bergamo behind Pomi if they are ahead of Novara?
Because this is not the final standing of 2015/2016 season; here it's explained what teams are partecipating in European Cups of 2016/2017 season (Bergamo qualificating in CEV Cup cause of Italian Cup victory)
Alessandro Chiappini is officially the new coach of Conegliano: http://www.imocovolley.it/limo…ach-alessandro-chiappini/
He took only 5 days to find a new team, I think it could be a record!
Now, Anthi Vasilantonaki is officially a player of Conegliano...if she confirms her premises, she could be the surprise of next Serie A!
In this article is rumoured about the possibility that the 14th player of Imoco could be a young and talented foreign player...any idea about she?
Seems that Conegliano will bring back Martina Boscoscuro (ex Pesaro, now in VBC Wiesbaden) as backup of De Gennaro.
Conegliano also signed Anna Nicoletti (OPP, born in 1996) from Club Italia (B1), player of Under 20 and Under 23 Italian NT (she's now the player who will replace Caterina Bosetti in Under 23 World Cup).
