About this rule, which I found quite stupid, as the league is becoming more spectacular every year also thanks to the foreign players, Imoco and Novara protested. Conegliano said that they won't partecipate to the european competitions if the rule will pass, Novara's president said that the league is more competitive also thanks to the foreign stars.
I think they're right, there are many players that are developing in Italy and the level is getting higher and higher, thanks to Club Italia the young italian players are developing too.. the rule is stupid to me!
I agree with you, and I also find that this rule won't permit to young players and young talents to rise up, I found more useful to have 3 Italians on the ground during the match, but one of them has to be under 21 (this is my opinion, I'm not trying to impose my view about it)

Seems that Bolzano could be in Serie A1 2016/17 because there are rumours about a sort of "crowdfunding" joined by sponsors, partners, local administration and some privates to try saving the team for next season (their possibilities are not so high, but there's a little hope)

As he said in an interview in Piacenza after 3rd match, he only want to do a single job (so Imoco or Italian NT)...now we have only to wait just to understand if he was saying the truth or not

No, because the European Cup qualifications aren't based on the Italian League playoffs, only on the standing of regular season.
So, I'll explain you all the qualified teams:
Imoco Volley Conegliano -------> Champions League 2016-2017 (winner of regular season)
Rebecchi Nordmeccanica Piacenza--------> Champions League 2016-2017 (finalist in the playoffs)
Pomì Casalmaggiore-------> CEV Cup 2016-2017 (first team in standing after Conegliano and Piacenza, also winner of the Champions League so I find it very strange not to be qualified to Champions cause they are winners of the last edition)

Seems that Conegliano will bring back Martina Boscoscuro (ex Pesaro, now in VBC Wiesbaden) as backup of De Gennaro.

Conegliano also signed Anna Nicoletti (OPP, born in 1996) from Club Italia (B1), player of Under 20 and Under 23 Italian NT (she's now the player who will replace Caterina Bosetti in Under 23 World Cup).
