Any news our Azeri friends can share with us? It is so weird not to hear any rumour from there. I know Rabita pretty much won't exist, but Telecom, Azeryol and Lokomotiv should be active out here no?
Unfortunately our teams will not do great transfers because of their financial condition. Of course Baku 2015 affected it. Rabita Volleyball Club has 2 teams Rabita and Telecom. So this year they decided to go on with only Telecom. You can ask why Telecom not Rabita ? Therefore most of all players included by Telecom's domestic players. There is a probability for the future Rabita can back again. And the clubs's strategy is not to bring star players to any team for this year. One man who works in Rabita said me that now this is the right decision we made. There is no benefit for us to waste our money for the star players who don't play like they are (you know who I mean).. They want to build strong team with young and national players. And Rabita wants to keep Zoran Gajic for long time.
If I am not mistaken Tori Dixon signed for 3 years contract and she has a year more.
