USA X POLAND --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4QW-AD3y2o
All three have already been removed

There's obviously an enormous storm around Vary. The Czech television also stopped broadcasting the match.

BTW, streams of the F4 are available at Czech TV web, in better quality than at Laola1. Hope it's not restricted for foreigners.

It's rather funny, the coach is speaking Italian to the Czech girls and Havelkova or Havlickova who can understand it quite well don't even translate
The assistant trainer, Ritschelova, serves as the interpreter. Also, Monzoni should understand Italian pretty well, as she's married to an Italian.

Not even 10% of the seats in the hall are occupied
Who had the bright idea of hosting the F4 on Thursday and Friday afternoon???
Brakocevic with a big tape around her left thumb...she better not get injured!!
This thursday and friday is Czech national holiday, so that's not the problem. Simply people were waiting for the home team's match
By the way, a funny fact: the final of EL is the same battle of coaches as last season's final of Italian league, Carlo Parisi (CZE/Busto Arsizio) vs Marcello Abbondanza (BUL/Villa Cortese).
Good point!

Semifinals Czech Rep. - Netherlands
http://www.ceskatelevize.cz/iv…1770002-cesko-nizozemsko/Hope it's not restricted and will be streamable from abroad. A fine headshot at exactly 105:00

Michal Rak from Valencia to Verona. Meoni also to Verona
Patriarca from Verona to Latina
Jakub Vesely possibly to Modena.
-
Ales Holubec and Laura Bonnerova, both Czech blockers playing for Nantes, are getting married next weekend
Looks like they use the same lipstick, too

Stokr and Hudecek will take rest from NT duties for the rest of the season.
Since Konecny still has problems with his knee, Krisko (who played well in the 'B' squad in the EL, while the 'A' squad was playing OQ) will be the starting opposite in the next EL tournament.
Because of other absences and diseases, Zajicek, Janouch, Kuliha and Bartos have been called to the squad; all very young players.

OMG Czechs! Trailing 19:23 when I got to the screen and still won the set
-
Their best player is (was) number 7 Sanjay Kumar., he has (had) heavy spikes
I knew the name was familiar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanjay_Kumar8 ROHIT PUTHENKOVILAKATHUPADINJAREMADAM
He makes up for his mates that only have a one letter name -
Clash of claws ... or a high five over the net?
-
Exactly, he's been a key player for a few years.
Fila has left the team because of back injury. Vesely has left some time ago, now there's more detail - he wanted some rest but couldn't get an agreement with the coaches.
With the lineup thinning and invitation to the OQ, few more players should come - no names yet, perhaps some experienced ones. Petr Konecny, maybe?
-
at this site it is posted that France will take place in Japan's tourney? I though the Czech republic will do so? Am I wrong?I don't really understand the mechanism, but somehow we (Czechs) would only be invited if Bulgary or Serbia qualified (which didn't happen, sadly)

setters: Filip Habr, Luboš Bartůněk, Jakub Janouch, Ondřej Boula
opposites: Jan Štokr, David Konečný, Michal Kriško
outside-hitters: Ondřej Hudeček, Karel Linz, Tomáš Fila, Jiří Popelka, Tomáš Hýský, Aleš Správka, Adam Bartoš
middle-blockers: Aleš Holubec, Radek Mach, Vladimír Sobotka, Marek Beer, Jiří Král
libero: Kopáček Václav, Juračka David
This broad squad should be later divided into A and B squads. There's a possibility Czechs will get a chance in olympic qualifiers, the B squad would play EL in that case. Anyway, the team seams to be pretty week this yearMany players have refused to play in NT this year mostly due to injuries, including Kryštof. Not sure about why Ticháček refused. Rejlek started to prepare with NT, but had to leave because of injury.
P. Konečný (MB) has retired from NT, Pláteník has switched to beach volleyball, he's formed a couple with another former NT player, Lébl.
