Cansu is doing exactly what Gracheva/Vasilevskaya/Sheshenina did for Russia in the 90s/00s and she is called a great setter for it
I mean yes she does execute it very well, but it also tells a lot about the level of setters nowadays because nobody would have called the Russians "good setters" in their days.I remember most Russian setters are generally looked down for playing "boring" volleyball and when a setter sets the middles more, they are classified as "better." But like you said, a good setter is one who knows what kind of set to give her attackers.

I expect a very close fight but I give a slight advantage to Conegliano because they are a much better receiving team than Vakif.

What a game! It was a thriller, especially the tie breaker
Congratulations to Vakıfbank! Cansu managed to keep both boskovic and Markova lead the offense while alternating every set. Markova has been super solid throughout the year but boskovic started to show up in last couple of games. I hope she can keep this level. One thing Markova is above all offensive OHs and Opps in the world is her super low level of errors. She get blocked once in a while but she very rarely hit out or into the net
Guidetti's Derya/ogbogu experiment doesnt really work so far. Not because of Derya though, it is just ogbogu is in a bad shape. Zehra's amazing shape is giving a huge edge to Vakıfbank against other top teams. Fenerbahçe's Vargina (okay this was bad) and Zeren's Uzelareva are putting similar numbers like Vakıfbank's Markovic in offense but they don't have 3rd attacker supporting them like Zehra does. Also she owned the net at tiebreaker with back to back monster blocksAbout Eczacıbaşı, Dilay should really get starter position. Not that Elif is bad but Dilay's creativity is very different and she has great connection with Stysiak. Dilay reminds me of Orro because she also contributes a lot with her block, defense and serves. I really wanna see her as starter whole vnl in NT. This season simge is our best libero. Eczacıbaşı is basically core of Turkish NT this season. I would be happy to see ebrar-simge-yaprak lineup at reception. Yaprak is such an inspiration for all short players
Ebrar had very solid reception and recently her defense improved enormously, which was her weakest element in game. I would have basically used Eczacıbaşı's lineup +Vargas+Zehra in ECH if I were in santarelli's shoes.Both Turkish teams in such a great shape that they are the favourites against Italian teams in CL in my opinion
