I cannot at this team is doing this well. I mean they trained a bunch of foreign born Filipinos who did not get their papers done on time, with an original bid for the Women's WCH. With our main pins just off injuries lol. 2-1 against a team they haven't won against like in ever.
I'm quite surprised too. For a team who's currently ranked at 77, they're fighting really hard against teams way, way higher in the workd rankings.

The 1st set is almost the same story with the game against Egypt. Iran is undoubtedly offensively stronger than the Philippines but its the errors that made the difference. -
I'm so sorry to hear about Bernardinho's mother. It must have been very to difficult to coach a team today while also dealing with a loss of a family member. The loss against Serbia certainly didn't made things any easier. I hope he gets the emotional support that he needs in such a difficult time.

The results are so wild. It's like anyone can win now at this point. So many unexpected twists.
I expect Brazil to be at the finals but at the moment, they are at risk of not reaching even the 1/16 round. Didn't expect Czechia vs China would have that much impact. I expect Czechia to go all out tonight because their chances in this tournament hangs by a thread as well. -
Brazil with 3 consecutive serve errors practically gave the match away to Serbia. Congrats to Serbia for closing this in straight sets and not allowing a Brazilian comeback. Admirable determination from the underdog team.

What's up with our team randomly winning a game?
It helped that Ordiales helped Bagunas in scoring today. All teams in Pool A now have one win each. It makes it hard to predict who who'll be top 2 and who will be eliminated.

First time I've seen this team play. I see now why the Nikolov brothers are getting so much hype. They're so good. Crazy turn around toward the end of the tiebreak. Slovenia was leading for the most part and looked like they're going to win it but that crazy challenge from Blengini and an ace on Mujanovic turned things around -
