So good to see Kenia again :super:

And she got an award :teach: I hope that with the new rule, she could come back to Cuba nationa team.
Carol was just amazing! I liker her more than Adenizia. Brazil wont have problems with MBs in the future.

Someone knows which is the new club of Nancy Carrillo? She was in Volero Zurich right?

I don't think that in such cases the players should be considered as "innocent" (i suppose, they all know their real age). They could say "no", especially those earning good money in club-volleyball. It's cheating, like doping.

Well, you should ask to Juana Gonzalez what happened to her. She had to move to the basketball, because she was forbidden to play in her national team and in any international club. She was a setter and player in the her national team during 13 years. Do you know why? Because she didnt accept Marte requirements.

Like I said, the PROVED and PUNISHED cases were Rondón and Sidarka Nuñez. Also, the doping case of Evelin Carrera in Japan WCH 06. But the doctor was the punished. All these were cases with a lot of documents and proved. So, anyone could say they´re fake.

The other players are only suspicious. Between them, Castillo.

Ruth Esther Reyes, Cindy Carolina Rondón, Gina Altagracia Mambrú, Bethania de la Cruz, Ana Esther Lara, Dahiana Burgos, Sidarka Nunez, Rosa Medrano and Brenda Castillo.

There are more cases, but of not famous players, during the JYCH in Pula, Croatia 2001. And well, also in JWCH Santo Domingo 01.

And about the Caso Sierra issue, once her sister, SIX YEARS YOUNGER, turned 19, Carmen Case got again her real identity. And without playing any previous tournment before, she played the GP 06. Whe she was 25.

No, she's not. During Junior WCH 2011, Peruvian journalists found documents that showed that she's actually born in 1989, not in 1992...but with Cristobal Marte being so powerful in FIVB, of course DOM federation can manipulate player ages however they want

I was ironic :) I read a lot about these documents during the WCH 2011 and I have seen personally Castillo, and she doesnt look like a teenager. It´s a pity, because all these complaints are against the head of the dominican federation, not their fans, who arent the guilty. This isnt something against Castillo (who is a wonderful libero).

Many dominicans or DR fans will say there arent proves against Castillo. However, the fact there are more than 15 complaints and 3 cases PROVED, that stains their reputation and any new case will be taken like shady.

There are the cases of Sidarka Nunez and Cindy Rondon. BOTH proved and punished.
For example there are complains during the NORCECA JWCH 05, NORCECA YCH 02, YWCH 01 and in WCH Japan 2006.
And the pearl was when Carmen Caso played with the name of her sister (SIX YEARS YOUNGER) in YWCH Croatia 2001 and JWCH in Santo Domingo 01.

    Sorry for the off topic.

    the video!

Believe it or not, Mrs Castillo is 21 years old. So if FIVB wants to organize a U25 WCH in 2015, she could play :gone:

Congratulations to China! Without Zhu Ting, they rocked. The final was yesterday, against the other unbeaten team.

Brayelin Martinez was also very impressed! Great future for her :obey:

Venezuela qualified to Poland 2014! Congratulations!

Venezuela didnt participate in the last Pan American tournments. For example, they didnt go to Pan American Cup, where they could have played for spot in the WL play off matches.

Venezuela played with a SUB23 team

    Venezuela 3:2 Colombia (29-27, 24-26, 25-17, 19-25, 17-15)

    Italy Euro Volley roster:
    Setters: Dragan Travica, Davide Saitta
    Opposites: Ivan Zaytsev, Luca Vettori
Outside Hitters: Cristian Savani, Simone Parodi, Filippo Lanza, Jiri Kovar
Middle Blockers: Emanuele Birarelli, Thomas Beretta, Matteo Piano, Daniele Mazzone
    Liberos: Salvatore Rossini, Andrea Giovi

Davide Saitta? And What happened with M. Baranowicz? I thought he was just cut of for WL Finals. And also...where is Falaschi? He replaced Baranowicz in the Final6 and now out...weird

Congratulations to Germany! Great comeback from the hosts! I loved Fursts digs in the 4th set :flower:
Kozuch was impressive when it was time to close the sets. Germany played quite bad during the first two sets. I really hope Belgium could qualify to Italy 2014.
Congrats to Rusia and Germany! Both teams already in the WCH! Together with Italy, Japan and Thailand

Wow!!! The 4 teams from pool D are in the semifinals! Congratulations to them!

Italy had a rebirth after their low performance during first phase. I really dont know which team looks stronger, because the results between them were very complex.

Italy beat Russia 3x2; but lost 0x3 vs Brazil and France
France beat Brazil 3x2 and Italy 3x0, but lost 0x3 vs Russia
Brazil beat Italy 3x0, but lost vs France and Rusisia 3x2
Russia just lost 3x2 vs Italy

I just hope very good matches in semifinals :drink:
    I expected more from Iran...

If I am not wrong, this match between Italy and DR was the last one previous the Final Round. Italy played without Gioli, Lo Bianco, Del Core and Barazza. However, it was a good match for the caribbeans. I remember Arias was stunnin during this GP. Looking the rosters, Italy´s one has changed a lot in comparison DR.

In Montreux, Italy won the the first match 3-0, then in the bronze medal match DR won.

Someone knows what happened with Giulia Rondon? Why she wasnt taken in count in this GP?

I also think Kwiek may be fired. DR is a team with an excellent libero and good attackers, however they havent won anything in the last years, or well, they havent won anything. Of course, I mean in the international area, because in the panamerican tournments, DR is always between the top 4. I guess the only international achievement they have got is the bronze medal in WGCH 2009.
In addition, DR has many years in the GP with Kwiek as coach, but they always finish in the second half of the final standing. So, it is time they look for a new coach. Kwiek has never shown a real line up. He changes in every single tournment.
Btw, he is also very stubborn with Echenique, who is one of the worst setters I have ever seen. What a pity she doesnt take advantage of the of the good spikers.

USA´s defensa looks much better in this match.
Harmotto is blocking almost everything :win:

Btw, after the good match Dominican Republic played yesterday and this italian team with some subs, the caribbeans should win :win:
