Agree to put the stress on the weak reception of Bergamo team.
Alessia Gennari has been bombed by Casalmaggiore servers. Result : only 32 % positive receptions for 41 balls.
Worse for Miriam Sylla with ... 19% positive (27 balls).
Weak attack too yesterday and block defense so so 7 vs 18 !
...
So much work for this team but I can't imagine Bergamasche girls won't improve with Lavarini and the local spirit. -

No, completely Dutch... The family name comes from a town called called Steenbergen, which means Stonemountains. I think in Scandinavian languages, Stone is usually Sten not Steen, but I might be wrong...Not Norwegian at all. "steen" and "berg / bergen" are quite Flemish.

Do you mean like a league between those countries? It is imposible... They don't have strong sponsors because volleyball is not famous. This is one of the reasons that they do not have a strong league.Another point is that we don't have trains that links south america and latin america countries. And flights are quite expensive.
It is a good idea and would be nice for this players, but I really can't see this happening.

We always arrive at the same conclusion with Dom team ; great promises but rather weak results. A Mex-Col-Caribbean championship (with Cuba of course ; not impossible with the improvement of the geopolitcal situation) could be a solution.
I mean with all the countries between Mexico and Colombia. -
