Very good level of volleyball, Japan still trying to catch OG place, and they can do that if they collect 3 points today, then they should hope Iran to lose 3 points againts Serbia and then all depends on Japan
no way!

You can watch European matches there because Chinese TV doesn't buy rights for them, but they do buy rights for WGP matches, so unfortunately you won't be able to watch WGP on Laola. It's clearly stated on the banner on the right side
Oh, I see your point, what a pity. But it doesn't matter that much. At least I can watch the man's WOQT on Laola1, and we have other sources of WGP games. Thank you!
I went to the hotel and saw the following players, hooker, tom, Haneef, larson, Foluke, scott, bown, berg, hodge.
USA came to Santo Domingo with their best players.
It seems that USA treats every fivb tournament extremely seriously every time, and always plays with their best players, like China.
Update on Laola streams: They will not be available in Brazil, China, Poland, USA and some small countries. Look here: http://www.laola1.tv/en/int/vo…ideo/201-1369-86596-.html
Matthias, the videos on laola1 streams are available in China. We usually watch many Europe Volley games on that.

A big surprise that Weiss is out, but I really can understand.
She wants to take a break from NT again and doesn't know how long...her last break was from 2008-2011
It's a shame, she should be our first setter but it seems she does not have the necessary motivation to dedicate herself to NT. But anyway, Denise Hanke's level is not much different, so now it's time for her. And to be honest, I would not mind if Guidetti left Weiss at home for WGP, Lena Möllers made good progress in her club last season and this year's WGP is really not a tournament where we need to be successful, so I really think he could take her there as well...but I'd be very surprised if he really does.
Oh,so that is what it is. Although it is one's own business to decide whether he/she would like to dedicate to the NT and other people should not comment on their decision. that still enforced bad impression on me, especially considering that she is still very young and does not suffer any injuries(I guess). Anyhow, the setter position is not the most player-needed place in your NT. You still have Hanke, Weiss and Mollers, and just as what you said, Hanke' level is getting better. I just cannot understand why Weiss cannot make any progress throughout these years. Isn't it a setter's level would be getting better with the increasing matches he/she got involved in? But it apparently does not apply to Weiss. I agree with that this years' WGP is really not that important to your NT, and the coach should try as many new players as possible to see whether there have some future stars. But at the moment it seems that there have not such chance for the new players, as the roster almost come out with all the familiar players'name on it. Wish your NT good luck in this year's WGP, and hope they can earn as many points as possible to ensure a better ranking which would be one day crucial to guarantee a spot in a more important tournament.
Display More2nd match GER-POL 1:3 (25-10, 21-25, 26-28, 21-25)
GER: Hanke, Kozuch, Brinker, Beier, Ssuschke, Fürst, Dürr (L) and Weiß, Möllers, Matthes, Burchardt, Kauffeldt, Schaus.
Stats:
GER: 11 aces, 13 serve err, 7 blocks, 49% attack
POL: 7 aces, 8 serve err, 7 blocks, 39% attack
It's interesting that Denise Hanke started both matches as main setter, I really hope it will be the same in WGP. I think she has the potential to be a much better setter than Weiss, and as Apitz does not want to play now, for me it would be logical to use WGP to give more international experience to Hanke.
Guidetti still has to cut one setter from the team, it would be very surprising if this won't be Lena Möllers.
The fact is that Apitz doesn't want to play? I thought Guidetti was giving her up...Germany has not many players after all. It's a big problem for Guidetti to arrange these girls for the strongest lineup. Trying new things is good, but I don't think Bringker and Ssuschke are suitable for Opp. Burchardt has better performance in this position. Guidetti should give more chance to her.
Yes, I am
But I studied in Germany (in English though) and am currently working in Germany, so my German is on an intermediate level already, even if it's quite far away from my English
hum~got it. Nice to meet you, It's very lucky that Germany doesn't play against Bulgaria this time(I mean WOQT). Or it will be hard for you to decide which side to support. Is it right? haha~
It says nothing troublesome. Just Heynen had to pick up the list for the Olympic Qualifier in Berlin and submitted a list of 13. Simon Tischer was left to recover during the WL tournament in Frankfurt after a slight injury, now he is back and ready to play, which means one of the two setters Kampa or Steuerwald needs to stay out. Kampa is in a better shape IMO, I even think he is a slightly better setter in general and had a great WL weekend, so it is logical for Patrick Steuerwald to stay out of the group. Markus Steuerwald was very stable in reception (with a few exception in the game against Bulgaria), so Ferdinand Tille, who was anyway not used in the WL and the OQ in Sofia, is again out. I saw them both in Frankfurt, looked in good health, the decision is only based on recent performance and head coach's choice.
YavarD, Thank you sooooooooo much! I finally can be relaxed after hearing they are both in good health. I think Steuerwald's setting is not worse than Kampa. his only weakness is that he is a little low with only a 180cm, which contributes little to his blocking. So if I were their coach, I would also choose Kampa as the sub. About their liberoes, it's a pity that Ferdinand Tille hasn't had any chance to play since this year. Although Markus Steuerwald is playing steadily these days, I still want to see Tille's performance . I still have the impression that Tille is a better libero. But as what you have said, it seems that he is not in a good shape after his injury, and it's natural for the coach to choose the players in best shape. Germany needs a more stable reception to guarantee a winning match. Last time they played against Bulgaria, the reception is terrible which directly resulted their failure. Anyhow, wish they at last successfully qualify for the Olympics.
BTW, aren't you a Bulgarian? You know German, right?
SOS,can anyone who understand German translate this piece of news into English for me? Or just extract the main points. I'm curious about what's wrong with Patrick and Tille. It seems that this two guys haven't been going on a training for two weeks. Does Tille recover from the injury now? Any information about the current situation of German NT players would be highly appreciated.
The news needed to be translated is as follows:

Thanks in advance!
Argentinians smashed by German serves
It was just painful to watch even though I love Georg and his serving skills. I have expected at least one set for Argentina and I was almost infallible 'cause it was close in third set... but
Poor Argentinians. But young Castellani was like a sunshine up there on this court
Mr Weber, what's about this Pereyra? Ivan is much better!

PS. Denis Kaliberda has Ukrainian roots, plays for Germany and has hairstyle like African
Come on, Ukraine is far away from Africa......and Ukrainian is totally different from African...
About transmissions, I hope Polsat will show the friendly matches, they did show the ones last month...
About Tzscherlich, I don't think we'll see her in NT again, maybe in ECH 2013 in Germany, but it's very questionable. She's 34 now and has had knee problems quite often in the last few years, and with Lenka Dürr we have a good successor for her.
Yeap, I quite agree with you.
Sandra Sell, Franziska Bremer and Anika Boin declined the invitation to NT
Guidetti says (and I agree) that it's hard to understand, those players were invited to NT for the first time (which is not quite true, Sell and Bremer were in NT training several years ago already) and now they don't use their chance
There are no reasons given on DVV site, so it's difficult to judge, but Sell said during the season that she would be very happy to be in NT and she would love to use her chances and now she doesn't come
Kerstin Tzscherlich will have knee surgery next week and will need 6 weeks to recover. Mareen Apitz takes a time-out from NT without specified duration (whatever that's supposed to mean...)
Germany will once again play two friendly matches in Poland on 31 May and 1 June and will fly to DOM on 5 June.
Hello, Mattias, I'm a German NT fan being from China. Thanks so much for sharing this news , I saw it on DVV too, but I don't understand German so that I have it translated by google. I guessed maybe some players had declined the invitation, and it turned out being true. Mattias, do you know if the two friendly matches have live broadcast?
Good luck to Tzscherlich, hope she can recover from injuries as soon as possible. Actually I even thought she must be going to retire if you don't tell me the fact.

well, good to hear that Riley Salmon came back as an OH. Several days ago, I read a piece of news about his rebuilds, and found that he worked extremely hard to regain his physical presence. It would be my luck to see him once again on the court showing his fabulous digging, receiving, serving and attacking wisdom!

Once again, so much thanks to QuraQ14, many Chinese fans, such as Italy fans and Bulgaria fans are looking forward to watching these games. You job is highly appreciated.
I like her very much, although so often I heard people complain her bad performance on the court. After reading this article I think I like her more since she strongly went over the disease by herself. She is definitely a girl with great determination, I presume, and of course a good looking!
QuoteAnyone downloading these matches? Cause World League is coming and I don't know if I should continue uploading then. Leave some comments, people. It really would help me.
Thanks so much for your sharing. I've downloaded two matches, and the speed is exactly fast. I'd like to download all those matches where Germany was in.
