Yes, it works perfectly. :) Thanks a lot!. ;) But, what do you mean by National Games?. ?( What is it about?.

Maybe you can call it a nationwide "Olympics", which involved in almost all Olympic sport items but not limited to that, while the participants are all Chinese provinces. So Evergrande does not qualify for this event because it's not for clubs but provinces, and the players from Evergrande will go back their own provinces to defend their home teams' honor. It's also held once every four years, and this year will be the 12th game. In a word, you can take it as the most important sport event here in China, and each province couldn't pay more attention to this tournament . I hope I have made it clear. :)

Do you know where I can find pics of the match?. Also I have a question. Why is the chinese league is of such a short duration?. The league is composed by a larger number of teams in comparison to the leagues of Japan and S.Korea. I really do not get it!. ?(

For short ,we have National Games this year. For normal years, the league usually lasts to early March.
Here's a source for this match's pics. I don't know whether it works for you, just try it. :)

if you take a player, who hides injury what do you expect? it was really obvious, that Shoeps will have an arm problem, which made him weaker and was a main reason, why he left Odintsovo (shorter? he was useless).

it's sad, 'cause Celitans from Modena was also a candidate for being an opposite of Resovia, after a time comparing results of both players - Shoeps and Celitans we can easily guess who would be more necessary

but actually we can't guess how Celitans would play in Resovia, this is a special club, where just some of players have good seasons

Yeah, it's said that Jochen has had injuries on his arms for extremely a long time, but he persisted to play. That partially explains why he plays weaker and weaker......plus his age, it's obviously that he will be less competent than the young players(it's sad, but the truth, and you have to accept it.). As for the current Resovia, I hope they play with the young player cause I don't think Jochen has the ability to turn around the match and it will be a huge risk placing Bartman on the court while he is not totally recovered.

Nope, it's not the first time they have been looking for a middle-blocker this season. The duo in the middle was supposed to be Brunner - Shumov when they got the news about his health. So they were quickly trying to find a resolution days before the start of the season. As you can guess, there weren't many uncontracted middles back then, but they were lucky to agree terms with Raymaekers. Now the signing of Kamnik seems a bit strange to me, just no apparent reason. The only explanation I could give myself was linked to some problems with Raymaekers - either physical or they were unhappy with what he showed so far (which I doubt could be the case).

About salaries, well, no one can give you accurate information as it is extremely difficult to know that unless you have an internal source. Stars, however, could indeed earn up to a million euro per season. The amount surely varies among leagues and teams.

Thanks, I thought Raymaekers had been always in the team......
So, maybe we can say that one million euro or a bit more than that is the most a volleyball player can earn in a season. I got a general impression on that, thanks again! :drink:

At the beginning of the year Generali Unterhaching signed Matevz Kamnik (Slovenian NT, MB, 25-year-old, ACH Volley Ljubljana). He is the fourth MB in the roster of Paduretu and he already made his debut in the CEV Cup, the German Cup and the league. It was important for him to play in the Cup semifinal against Dueren (won 3-0) as only the players in the team sheet then can appear in Halle for the final, which this year will oppose Haching and Moerser SC. As far as I know, only Robert Hupka was absent against Latina during the week, Paduretu has no problems with the roster, especially in MB position, so I am curious what triggered the transfer in the middle of the season. Raymaekers was the one to sit on the bench recently. Moreover, Kamnik had a shoulder injury which prevented him from playing for ACH in the first half of the season. Thanks to that he could be registered for the CEV Cup games, but based on the score from Wednesday it seems it will not be a long run for Unterhaching.

The Bratoev brothers will leave Levski Sofia soon and are rumoured to head for Russia. Valentin Bratoev (the OH) is linked to Yaroslavich Yaroslavl due to the injury of Anton Kulikovskiy, whereas Georgi (the setter) is said to sign with the second-division team Enissey Krasnoyarsk.

Well, thanks for the infor, Yavord. I never know Haching just signed another MB recently. Is it the first time they took the action of introducing MB after Theodore Brunner was checked out having a heart disease? It's a big shame they lost to ACH Volley in CEV CL league round, while they were given almost all the external advantages(home ground advantage, and they just need a win to their opponent in whatever sets. But they didn't, which directly kicked them off the playoffs 12 :aww: ). Probably the German Cup final is their only chance to get a "Meister" in this season, cause Berlin Recycling is going through a better and better state and hopefully to defend their Bundesliga championship.

BTW, do you(or any others) know anything about male volleyball players' salary in one season? I'm very curious about this but never saw a contract of volleyball players revealed with details like this. I saw some people talking about this thing among women players, and they said it's in a range of €500,000 to €1,000,000 for the stars? But I'm not sure if this suits men's situation.

    So far the ranking:

    Rottenburg - BR Volleys 1:3

I have just realised that if there is 28 teams in the group stage then even if somebody is 2nd in their group is not in safety to qualify as they let just 12 to the next stage. So now the 7 first ranked teams plus the 5 best 2nd qualifies?

You remind me! Yes, that is the case! I had always considered that there would be 14 teams going into the playoff, just as the situation in football case ...But it's so wrong I found I was.... :aww: following is the exact regulation:
    http://www.cev.lu/Competition-…tition.aspx?ID=566&PID=-1

So now the league is professional now? China have a lot of resources and if they deicde to make their league competitive it can become much stronge than the Japanese or Korean ones

Not yet, teams still belonging to the provinces, no transfer market, hardly possible for the players to play outside the teams they initially signed in.

Interesting,it seems that VfB Friedrishshafen can't wait to release their pent-up anger by edging Dueren in 3 straight sets...... :rolll:

I've watched Harms live on JECH in Gdynia. Showed nothing as well as other German players

Thanks, Kaziy! I saw other young guys in a match between VCO Berlin and Generali Haching too. Sorry that I have to draw some conclusions similar to yours.Men's volleyball in Germany is as not favorite as here in China...Pathetic

He doesn't play that often, so I can't really say much. He wasn't used at all in Unterhaching, generally he is the 4th, sometimes even 5th choice when Spaeth, who is a libero otherwise, comes to serve and improve the reception. Because of Batista's absence he got a chance against Roeselare in the CL, but he wasn't that impressive. However, he is still very very young, he'll definitely show us more in the years to come :)

    Thank you for your information,YavarD!

Result from the quartelfinal of Germany Cup. I have no idea where to put this, so here is a good place. :)

    28.11.12 | evivo Düren - VfB Friedrichshafen | 3:0 (25:23, 30:28, 25:22)
    28.11.12 | Moerser SC - CV Mitteldeutschland | 3:2 (17:25, 31:33, 25:22, 25:20, 15:10)
    28.11.12 | SVG Lüneburg - Generali Haching | 0:3 (17:25, 19:25, 15:25)
    28.11.12 | TV Rottenburg - TV Ingersoll Bühl | 3:1 (25:22, 27:29, 25:18, 25:20)

I suppose VfB Friedriechshafen also began to show some tiresome of the continuous playing......besides, Dueren is not that weak..

What are you guys talking about?
I was at the game on Sunday, a great one indeed. Haching fought well to take the win. VfB finally showing some character after the weak start of the season, but they have a lot of work to do. Quite logically, the most convincing team in the Bundesliga is the one to keep most players - Berlin. They seemed just a little bit stronger at the beginning when they beat Haching in Munich and VfB in Berlin in a week. Now, however, the gap is closing. Berlin aren't used to playing that often - one of the key reasons why they were fresh in the play-offs last year when they had no CL obligations. This year they were lucky enough to meet their main title contenders early on and then enter the sequence Wednesday-Sunday. Their defeat in the German Cup was not surprising. I personally expect more from Friedrichshafen because of the players they have, they are still away from glowing. Good words for Simeonov who is completely new for the league and could be a factor at his age, appears in a good shape as well, otherwise he would most probably have more difficulties in Italy.

8o You lucky guy! So, Yavord, what do you think Harms Yannick. I read the news that he took the chance to play during VfB's last CL match against Knack Roeselare. Is he demonstrating some potential or just a common player, or it's just too early to make any conclusion......
