Grobelna was born in Poland (Radom). Her father was volleyball player. He played in Polish NT.
This is abroad subject. Many Polish players left for Belgium when communism was in Poland. Strumiłło, Goliat, Grobelny, Sobolski etc.

Palacios will play in Brazil.
Quotewhich Italy club wanted her in the middle 00´s?
Iza told me that she had offers from Despar Sirio Perugia and Foppa BG in 2004 and Jesi in 2005.
Skorupa
Quotein Pomi this season she showed nothing great
Rachele Sangiuliano says something diffrent.
QuoteBaku and in Pomi this season she showed nothing great and was replaced so many times in Rabita with Tomkom who even became first setter..
Skorupa had a wrist injury. She didn't undergo operation beacouse of Final Four Champions League, despite doctor advised against. After FF CL She flew to Paris where a surgical operation has been performed on her (tendon of the right hand).
What an incredible discussion! What a substantial comments! She is the best, she isn't. She is, She isn't. She is better than miss x. OMG!
QuoteSkorupa really screwed up in the end, first a bad set to Stevanovic (though she would have had other options than hitting it out) and then a set to nobody on Conegliano's match point
I thank Mr Matthias for his intensive and relevant comment. Because of his example, I can show you how professional comments are in this website.
Possitioning P3 side out, where Skorupa set to nobody in his opinion.
In this possitioning Pomi has 4 options in attack after excellent reception - Stevanović slide attack 2, Gennari 4, Tirozzi back row attack 6, Ortolani/Bianchini back row attack between 1-6.
Each team has a attack coverage system. Setter look what happens in her side of the court until players receiving ball. Because she can't set to lying player.
Possitioning P3 side out. First link in YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?…feature=youtu.be&t=44m34s
Tirrozzi overslept, stayed on position 1 instead of went to 6 and as a result of this Bianchini could not attack. Nowdays team play very fast. Skorupa isn't a fairy. She couldn't have foreseen that Tirrozzi make a mistake. Nowdays team working like a machine . One error generates the next one.
Set to Stevanović was also good.
Skorupa is great setter imo like Glass, Antonijecić, Naz etc..
Back to the main thread.
Rourke resolved her contract with Rabita. She isn't on loan. I spoke with her manager.
QuoteI hope you get what I mean now.. those are very low percent for an OPP.. Of course if Alisha can't set Neriman will set her, it can't be all Neriman after all.
3 opp (Barun 40%, Fabris 37%, Plak 35%) have better efficiency than Nikolova (33%)... Tomsia 33%, Diouf 33%, Bianchini 30%, Turlea 29%, Van Hecke 27%, Muresna 27% ....
QuoteWell it wasn't so high and it was too fast so hitting it full force will make you hit it out of bounce..
too high, too low, too fast, too slow. I always thought cross court attack exist. In addition, Jovana chose zone where stood libero...
and effeciency Nikolova 33%, Ozsoy 32%.
Nikolova made only 59 attacks errors... Ozsoy made 90.. Nikolova 39,4%, Ozsoy 39,7%
QuoteConegliano is based on Neriman and Adams.. today Nikolova and Fiorin helped them, but you can check previous stats that they score with only 2 player..
Oh, something new. Nikolova is fifth in tabel of the best scorer in te league. Why Emilia, why..
QuoteSkorupa really screwed up in the end, first a bad set to Stevanovic (though she would have had other options than hitting it out) and then a set to nobody on Conegliano's match point
Bad set to Stevanović? Good width, good high, one-person block but Jovana chose line spike in out.
"Stolenborg is good setter" . You don't make me laugh.
Quoteshe's not even playing well in her club, well okay, she's still a good setter but I'd rather prefer Wolosz who's currently being one of the best setters in Italy
Oh, something new. Pomi is in third place in the league, without real OP and average spikers. Tirozzi was bench player last year. Ortolani was third option in attack in Busto , more ball then her was getting Marcon. So... Yeah Wołosz play really good, but she has on the wings Havelkova, Diouf, Perry...
QuoteSkorupa will have rest for 1 year.
untruth..
upsss
I didn't read whole topic. Sorry I read kondzio post and next estra.
Glinka is not. She had big chance in 2004, when she played with De Carne and He Qui (great chinese setter, she was first before Kun Feng - I loved her and Kun too ).
Novara won 2 matches in a row. In the fourth match They lead 13:10 in tie break, but lost. In the fifth Bergamo won 3:0. Glinka played great in this final matches.
Women's volleyball reached the bottom. FF Champions League and 49 errors in 3 sets match. Kazan yesterday made only 15 mistakes. Today Eczacibasi made 26 errors, omg 1 set.
In third set Rabita had better reception, but didn't play better. Larson did what she wanted, when Tomkom was in block. Nootsara was big hole in block. Yes, she played much more better, than Skorupa in defense - Asian volleyball.
They made a mistake to taking FF. Rabita run out of games at a high level. Maybe in next year. Team will be better. 41 errors - disastrous level.
Rourke was great in Polish league but she is still too weak technically at this level. She even didn't try to spike past the block, tip the ball behind the block etc. Center up defensive system was also bad in Rabita. Really bad palying system, too many mistakes.
