Among the top teams... Probably USA... but they have pretty tall wing blockers which negates the need for a tall MB... Although they have Jendryk but he's still below Holt and Smith if we're talking about depth charts.
Japan used to have small MBs but now they are pretty tall too which coincides to their rise as a team in recent times.
Thanks, but I don't understand your previous comment, the one about short setters and Brazil and France.
-
While this is true, Serbia can't play like let's say... Brazil or France as they don't have tall MBs.
Who doesn't have tall middle-blockers?

Serbia just can't cheat with their blocking it seems and there's the occasional aces from Leon making life harder.
Also there's the Atanasijevic Choke as QPL have predicted all over again.
They need Luburic and Uros but it seems he is injured.

If healthy Kurek comes back, Poland is still the contender in tournament.
Now I am curious Poland will send what team to WC. Kubiak will play for WC, maybe Leon as well?
This is what Poland is going to send to Japan. They are actually already in Japan:
Tomasz Fornal
Norbert Huber
Marcin Janusz
Łukasz Kaczmarek
Bartosz Kurek
Bartosz Kwolek
Bartłomiej Lemański
Grzegorz Łomacz
Piotr Łukasik
Jakub Popiwczak
Michał Szalacha
Rafał Szymura
The EC bronze medalists are going to join them later on. Both Kubiak and Leon are on the team.

In his last interview he said that even 7 countries from Europe will be able to play at OG so it excludes any sports from WC. Do you have any source?
The info about World Cup 2023 comes from the article you quated in your post. It talks about the changes to be introduced after the last committe meeting.
-
Will the World Cup resume its status as an OG qualifier?
According to Przedpelski - yes. The best two teams will qualify.
-
WZP - in the interview you have mentioned Przedpelski is referring to the ranging system used to determine the participants of the OQTs that finished two days ago. As you probably remember there was a discussion which tournaments should be taken into consideration. He is not talking about any permanent changes introduced in the future. In a more recent interview, however, he said that it is very likely that for the next olimpic games the continental qualifications will take place before the intercontinental tournaments, which should ensure at least 6 spots for Eurpean teams.
Your ranking system seems to be quite complicated.

In my opinion, Kwolek and Bednorz are currently better than him.
Agree.
-
There's no way Sliwka is a guaranteed first teamer.
Heynen seems to like him and he did really well during the group phase.
-
Only one game does not mean much. Poland NT choices for OH would be Leon, Kubiak, Salpuk, Kliwka, Klewok and BB.
BB and Klewok are on the same level.
Who are Kliwka ans Klewok?
-
How many more OHs from this team are they going to add in A-team? Bednorz is making a strong case for himself..
None, one or two. The four OH who stayed in Poland are: Kubiak, Leon, Sliwka, Szalpuk. The first three are quite certain. Szalpuk cannot be sure. Heynen may also decide to take 5 OH and only 3 MB just as he did last year.
