During the summer of 2006, I watched an exhibition matches between the US and Poland. Both teams had several players who were not their regular starters but were getting experience playing on the national team. For Poland, the players were:
    Mirek
    Rosner
    Skorupa
    Zenik (L)
    Pycia
    Fratczak
    Baranska
    Liktoras (w/ dark hair)
    Koczoro?...(MH)
    Pluta
    Kaczor
    Bamber

I recongize the players who recently played during the WC but I was just wondering whether any of the other players above might make the Poland national team in the future?

I believe the USA loss to Puerto Rico (oops, I meant Spain...) last night means they will not be qualifying for the OG during the WC, even if they were capable of winning every other match. They still have Russia, Bulgaria, etc...

But I say a disapointment because I think Brazil has won many times out of will and heart only, and today I didn't see any of that. I thought they were a bit apathetic, mainly in the third set. Maybe they were missing Ricardo, who was, despite a great setter, very vibrant...

I am very happy that US won but I was wondering how the lack of Ricardo would impact brazil. It is a shame that the issue is a personality issue versus an injury. It is not a good thing when ego is more important than the team. I do not understand the issue and take no sides. I just think it is a shame. I am sure the US is happy they won but would be even happier if they defeated brazil with ricardo.

Justyna, I downloaded the whole game, everything is fine.... good audio and video quality. I usually use DivX to watch the games.

Again, thanks for sharing the games.

I, too have good sound on this match...

Which matches you can't view on a Tv?

Btw. sorry for not the best quality of matches from WC... when I get back my computer I'll try new software to convert.

Don't worry about it because I can view them fine by PC. However, for your info:

    POL-USA: Good
    POL-BRA: Upside Down
    POL-PER: Good
    USA-CUB: Good
    USA-PER: Upside Down
    ITA-THA: Good

I am having some interesting results with some (not all) of the encoded video files. They look fine in a video player but when I imported them into a video software package to burn as a DVD they appeared UPSIDE DOWN! :)

I am not sure what that means. A quick search in Google suggested codec compatability issues. No big problem as I can view them on a PC, just not on a TV after burning them onto a DVD.

    Keep up the good work!

i cannot access the download. i keep receiving an error message for #1 and #3 on the website.

    thank you.

I have been successful with set 2 and set 3 but it took mulitple attempts. I am still trying to get set 1. If it does not become better by tomorrow, I will reload them under my account to see if that helps...

[quote="Borodakova"]Justyna...please..don't post the matches on megaupload plaase..the megaupload toolbar has download to download thelinks..but this toolbar has many spywares and adwares that will many problems on my computer..the megaupload too has a premium time..that I can't download at the moment..only between 7:00 pm and 9:00 am..it's horrible..[quote]

I do not use the tool bar so I do not have a problem with spyware. I just use the website. I have also used the download application (not toolbar) when I have premium. I do not always have premium. I only purchase it occassionally. I also do not see a premium time in the US unless the file is larger than a certain size. I learned that when I posted a file that was larger and other posters asked me to change it to a smaller one so they could download it without premium.

I like megaupload and would like to continue to use it. However, we should see if there is something we can do for you if you are having difficulty.

    Any suggestions by others?

I have been searching for an email address to contact Descente Volleyball in Japan. I can get their website but it is almost all created with adobe flash and therefore is not easily translated by translation programs.

I want to contact them about men's volleyball shoes and apparel in the US. I contacted the US company for Descente and they replied that they do not represent volleyball and suggested I contact Decente Japan.

    Thank you in advance...

The game Poitiers vs Paris (10-31-07) will be broadcast live and for free on Poitiers's website.
That's the first time that a volley game of the french championship is broadcast live on the Internet. I hope that the website will get enough bandwidth to enable everybody to watch it ... :o

Thanks for including the link to the website. Hopefully, I will be near a computer while it is being played...

These teams play in CEV Cup. Tomorrow tv shows match AZS Czestochowa against evivo Düren. I will try record. Match of AZS Olsztyn was broadcasted in last week, but unfortunately I didn't record it. But if AZS Olsztyn in this weekend win against Pepe Jeans Asse Lennik in next round will be play against Fakel New Urengoy. I think that tv will show one match (this played at home).

Thank you once again. I sure wish there were more volleyball broadcasts (international) in the US so I can return the favor. I will have to look through some of my older collections to see if I can find some "new" old video...
