Argentina - Peru (summary)
A (final?) remark regarding German team: this is really adequate to the general bad state of volleyball in Germany, with a total incapable national federation, featuring only one strong part: the first womens league (VBL), which is using many foreigners, which may mislead in this regard, and the men's team of Berlin. Everything else you can forget for now.
OFF TOPIC
I have to admit that i watched quite a bit of German Men's Bundesliga during last season (maybe even more than any other league). It might not be the highest elite level of play but i really enjoyed their livestreams on Twitch. I often thought how nice it would be to have the same concept for other leagues (as someone who stubbornly resists paid subscriptions).

NUC: we don’t want Champions League
*draws THY*Guess we don’t want CEV cup either
Loool
Still better than risking to mess up the club budget just for the sake of "prestige".
I like it. It's nice to have one competition where also a club from a medium-level league can experience a great run.
yeah? Why? They're their best players
Don't know. Maybe busy with finishing university studies or health reasons...
The wide roster: https://www.volleyball.ch/file…glist_EMQ_Frauen_2022.pdf
Not that optimistic regarding Switzerland. Looks like a bunch of players is missing on a wide roster they have posted for this season (like Perkovac, Eiholzer, Deprati or Lengweiler).
Curious who will play for Switzerland in the 2nd match. Was interesting to watch yesterday with a somewhat surprising (at least to me) starting line-up.
And eventually... also Qualification pool F postponed to January according to Czech Federation site:

Everything to be played out in January... hopefully.
Qualification Pools A (with BLR, EST, SUI) and F (with SLO, CZE, BIH, LAT) supposed to be played in August/early September for now. The other 4 pools postponed to January according to CEV.
UPDATE: Qualification Pool A apparently is now postponed to January as well according to Swiss Federation site:
Qualification Pools A (with BLR, EST, SUI) and F (with SLO, CZE, BIH, LAT) supposed to be played in August/early September for now. The other 4 pools postponed to January according to CEV.
Georgia Tech at least won the NIVC Championship which is kind of a "best of the rest" tournament for 32 of the best teams that didn't make the cut into the official NCAA Tournament field.
Usually not all teams who are invited, choose to participate in this however. But winning it might have provided some good vibes for them heading into the upcoming season, who knows.
German OH Sina Fuchs to Fatum Nyíregyháza (HUN). Hungarian League seems to become a bit more international with every season. Only eight clubs in this league, but at least the top four clubs seem to build really decent teams again.
Maybe if all (3 or) 4 countries in one pool agree that their respective conditions allow a somewhat adequate preparation, then they can go for the early date (and if not, then for the later date)? Anyway, if true, might still be a bit better for Switzerland to play all the matches in Belarus than in Estonia (assuming Belarus is the favorite to win anyway).
As far as I understand it, CEV intends to do qualifiers in late summer, but for the case that it's not possible there yet, they have already fixed dates for January as alternative. They'll take a final decision soon: https://www.cev.eu/News.aspx?NewsID=30733&ID=5
OK. I just assumed it would be the same period for all (either August for all pools or January for all pools).
Strange. The quali pool with Finland will play in next January according to them:

But the quali pool with Belarus in August according to them:
Sara Klisura one more season with 1. MCM-Diamant Kaposvár (HUN).
American MB Karis Watson (VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen (GER)) signed with VC Kanti Schaffhausen (SUI).
