I don't know. I watched some really entertaining BYU home matches and also like Jones-Perry A LOT and wish her only the best and to be invited in the future. Sometimes i just think players should also be rewarded when they actually PROVE to play very good in leagues on the level like Germany but the discussion is always about who of the fresh graduates or even the students should be invited because of an assumed great potential or high ceiling (without knowing YET if it really will unfold also under international rules or another ball used). But that goes off topic now...

I guess the pressure to invite always the "next big things" from the NCAA is high and late bloomer players like her coming from a not so famous NCAA program (and conference) who were no "celebs" right out of college easily got forgotten. But who knows, Miyashiro might notice her. Would be nice.

Saw in MEVZA match stats that Katarina Luketic is in action again for Mladost Zagreb as OPP. She was with the University of Texas (NCAA) squad for a little while, but then left (homesick??). Maybe she can be a (future) back-up for Fabris as well.

Estonia, who would have thought. Good job! Nice to have a baltic country there (LTU and LAT seem to give more priority to beachvolleyball is my impression...?).

That should add quite a bit of "firepower" for them, i would assume. Two players with good reputation from well-coached programs. They both were good scorers for their teams. as far as i remember the stats.

I think Alexakou was named freshman of the Year in the Big East conference this season. Big East is a decent mid-level conference among the 32 conferences. I also remember a recent tweet from Saint Mary's College (West Coast Conference) where they announced their supposed future recruiting class with greek Elena Baka for their indoor AND beach team. West Coast Conference is overall a bit better than Big East, i think, maybe nr. 5 or 6. I used to watch a bit West Coast conference this season because it's freely available and usually has early matches on Saturday.

Sorry, but it's disgusting how you talk about her. Apparently she's able to attend a good US-University (which means her IQ can't be that bad...). But, oh well, empathy is long gone on these kind of message boards...

Not surprised that Fatum was a bit stronger than Düdingen. IMO, overall, Fatum is also the (slightly) stronger team "on paper".

Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen played with a 16 year old setter and maybe is able to turn it around at home if the main setter (who is out with a concussion, i think) can play (but of couse her health is more important and things should never be rushed in such cases!).

I think they overestimate the willingness to pay for this BIG time...

Still empty though, schedule isn't there yet (i think the league will start mid-november(?)). If you go to the already played "CUP" matches (choose "FR - Group B" for the final matches), you can see who was on the rosters (scoresheet), but no stats/numbers.

Glad that Barber had a good debut. Looks like the indoor-"mojo" is still there (after playing "only" beachvolley with her US-University squad after her eligibility for indoor was over). I expected Potsdam to sweep after 2 sets, Wiesbaden looked quite "off". But then everyone for Wiesbaden stepped up their game, nice team effort and probably quite entertaining for their fans in the hall.

Let him "hype" his player or club. There are hardly any limits for "trashing" players/coaches/clubs here, so why should there be any for "hypeing" them? IMO, the latter is far less annoying.
