and Japan are now qualified for the 2014 Women’s FIVB World Championships, with
their Pool A wins this week. China, Korea, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, India will
fight for the final two spots at Pool B of the tournament, which takes place
Sept. 27 to Oct. 1 in China. In the
Asian Women’s Final Qualification Tournament, the 10 teams are divided into two
pools of five teams. The two best ranked teams in each pool (total four teams)
will advance to the 2014 FIVB World Championships."

Yes, Qualification Tournaments to World Championship 2014 for asian teams are divided into two parts. First part was held from September of the fourth to the eight. It took place in Japan, Komaki. In this tournament took part: Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Australia. Japan and Thailand got ticekt to Italy 2014 The second part of the tournament will take place in China (Chenzhou).

Yeah! Thailand won! It was great match! I can't believe that China lost, because I thought that this team will gain gold

Neriman Özsoy star of the National Women’s Volleyball Team and Galatasaray Daikin talked to Milliyet about their chances in Grand Prix and European Championship and about the goals of the yellow-red team this season.

You have played the first stage of the Grand Prix in Ankara. How do you evaluate the performance of the team here?

“I think our graph shows an increasing performance. Every day is a different experience to us and increases the level of our game. We got good results with the audience in Ankara and completed the first stage with the second place.”

You did not play much in Ankara. How is your injury?

“I’ve survived a major injury. The only thing that upset me was staying away from the courts. But right now I can do everything. I found a chance against Japan. After being away for 3 months I'm very happy to be back. Although, I couldn’t do enough ball-training I try to be beneficial to the team. I work to show a top-level performance in the shortest possible time.”

In the second stage of the tournament you will meet Argentina, China, and the Czech Republic. What are the chances against these three opponents?

“They’re all very important competitors. I think we must win the match against China. This is a very important match for us. They will challenge us more than the other teams. We will try to complete the second stage of the tournament without losing a match.”

What is your goal in European Championship?

“Of course we want to overcome the group stage then we want to reach the final and win the tournament.”

You are working with Massimo Barbolini in the NT as well as in Galatasaray. Is it an advantage for you?

"I think it brings me no advantage. I try to fulfill the expectations of all the coaches I work with."

You had played abroad before are you thinking to play again abroad?

"Right now I’m very happy to play for Galatasaray. Of course I will think about the proposals when the transfer -period comes. I can go abroad but it will depend on the circumstances. It is very difficult for me to say anything now. I’m going to play a very tough season in the jersey of Galatasaray Daikin. I just concentrate on that."

Galatasaray Daikin has a good roster. What are your goals in the league and in Europe this season?

"Last year Galatasaray was the host of the Final Four. This year we have a more balanced and long team in comparison to last year. In every track we must fight for the championship."
