Sanja Malagurski about her transfer to Sollys: Just to think I'm going to play there is something unbelievable for me. I know it will be a big challenge and I've never been so far away from home, but I believe everything's going to be alright. I have feeling I will have a good time in Brazil, be happy and able to focus on volleyball and do what I love most. After a whole season of rehabilitation and another season of not much playtime in Italy I will give my best to make myself and people around me satisfied.
Good luck
Serbian libero Nina Rosic joins Le Cannet, where she will play together with Sanja Bursac who extended her contract for another season.
Source? On APASPORT they list all the players currently signed to Rabita and she's not mentioned.
Serbian daily newspaper Sportski Zurnal. They're usually very reliable, at least about volleyball news.
I managed to find it, the edition of April 29 - here. .
Krsmanovic, Castillo, Starovic, and Zhukova have not renewed contracts yet, at least not according to media.
I read that Krsmanovic extended her contract a while ago.
I can't believe Croatia managed to lose a set to Bokan-less Montenegro
OP: Bjelica?, Kowalińska (Żebrowska)
It is confirmed by her here: http://www.zurnal.rs/2013/05/2…itic-i-bjelica/index.html
She's happy that she's found a new club already and thinks she's made the right choice moving to Poland.
It looks like Serbian players are discovering Poland Interesting choice for Bjelica, I hope she will get at least some play time next season.
Display MoreWe have another mommy here or I'm the only one who didn't know Silvija Popovic had a baby at the beginning of this year. She had a son called Strahinja(Very unique name I have to say ) and as you already know Jelena Nikolic named Aleksandar to his son as well.
Interesting article about Jelena&Silvija becoming a mom and getting back to volleyball court afterwards.

Aleksa looks so cute right there
I thought it was common knowledge, so I was surprised with your comment about Silvija looking different. I was like, yeah, being pregnant and giving birth will do that to you
Strahinja is a pretty common name here, especially in the last couple of decades. Although I imagine it must look very weird for the foreigners.
No, the town is called Police, pronounced "Politse". It has nothing to do with the police forces.
She's still in France doing some medical check-ups. To me it looks like she won't be on the team this year.
OMG, my namesake and I were posting almost at the same time
Yep, Djerisilo is definitely there... I guess she'll train with the girls to get back in shape.
I don't really like Rasic's hair now
The team gathered today, they will first undergo physical examinations and later begin with trainings.
Some pictures:
Ana Bjelica and Jovana Stevanovic are released from their contracts in Crvena Zvezda and will play abroad the next season. Their destinations are still unknown.
I don't know many of these players except Saviç, Stevanoviç, Blagojeviç, Bursac and Rosiç. Anyone who has potential to contribute in A team?
Apart from those you mentioned, none. Except maybe Ljubica Kecman some time in future.
I don't know about Lukovic's development, though.
Adela Helic is a decent OPP, but is clearly behind Brakocevic, Bjelica and Malagurski.
Stevanovic on both lists
I really don't think it makes much sense to have Blagojevic on this team and Lazarevic on A team.
I know... also I'm not sure in what form are Nikolic and Popovic, they both gave birth this year And Majstorovic , why 3 liberos, 4 setters and just 2 Opp....
I guess having 4 setters on that list means that he's not sure that both Ognjenovic and Antonijevic will play this year...
And likewise with liberos, since Cebic and Popovic didn't play this season, but I would expect Rosic to be there and not Majstorovic.
Malagurski can also play as OPP, so it shouldn't be a problem on that position. Though I guess it means that Nesovic will never get a chance on NT.
Apparently, Maja Poljak will play at ECh, but will skip the WCh qualies because of a small injury.
No Jelena Blagojevic?!
Ana Lazarevic... why? Anyone from the junior NT would have been better than her. Or Sara Klisura, even better. I hope she'll be in the EL squad at least.
Surprised there's no Vesovic, although I don't have a problem with that.
Serbia:
Crvena Zvezda - CL
Vizura - CEV Cup
Zeleznicar Lajkovac - Balkan Cup
Spartak (CEV Cup), Jedinstvo and TENT (Challenge Cup) all decided to withdraw.
