Actually I agree with you, Matthias on everything you wrote, but I REALLY don't like this Volero project to have any success so I'm ok with Kazan going through and as their level is very low I have no doubt Rabita will crush them at F4.
You seemed surprised with the way Gamova nd Larson acted today. But I think they act that idiotic pretty often now, don't they? Maybe not that high emotions, but pretty close to it. I'm not surprised at all seeing this today. Gamova is always being let off with this behavior. I can understand in Russia she's such a star, but referees from Europe surely got to take actions. there you go again with problem with Volero owner, somebody invested his own money in the club, while Omsk, Kazan, Moscow, Rabita, Azerrail, even Cannes gets a lot money from city budgetand this teams are spending money from government budget, meaning from taxes that people are paying. Can you imagine this couple millions that goes to Kazan, Rabita etc that is invested in community.

I'm not defending Terzic as person, on this forum when you hear something than for some reason everybody is taking as it 100% sure. Terzic had some issues with player/s and probably will have again, but I will repeat again what coach don't have?! If you are coach and you believe that some player/s are bringing negative energy to your team, would you chose them?
because on OPP he has Brakocevic, Bjelica and even Malagurski can play so no trouble there and Mihajlovic as OH is really powerful hitter, so why he will bring more power in the team? on OH he has a lot problem, reception is weak spot of Serbian team, so comparing Molnar and Nesovic is really wrong.

it looks that Ilic didn't do bad job at all, this is actually her work, maybe she could not solve some issues in team, but for sure they did had quality trainings with her, that is clear now.
Actually Kazan doesnt have as two good strong wing-spikers as Volero has.: Olessa R.and Kenia C. Both are still young.If Volero can defend Gamova well (which should be easier to defend her in comparison with the past) and keep good - play then we can competitive series.
the same could be for EcV- Conegliano (ıf they advance)..if Conegliano keeps good team play then we can watch compettive series.
well, Olesia is playing on same position as Gammova, Larson and Del Core could be advantage over Kenia and Klaric/Granvorka (both young without experience, but this kind matches makes difference between top players and average players).

I was about to write the same. I assumed Volero as the weakest of playoffs but they did well against Piacenza, so probably Piacenza was the weakest of playoffs. Whether Kazan or Moscow, I dont think Volero will qualify. It's not about their owner or it's not because I dont like them. I tell this by just looking at the squads teams have. Anyway congrats to Volero!
no need to play with words, I said that Volero is stronger than Piacenza, never mentioned that is best team in the World. Kazan has team that is playing together last 4 seasons, in this moment there is not a lot teams who can win over Kazan, hope that Volero will give they best and not lose before match starts, they need to concentrate on they game and make it next round interesting.
Volero deserved victory with better performance than Piacenza in both matches, comparing two teams Volero is more stronger team than Piacenza, on almost every position they have better players. You can have problem with Volero owner, although its even that funny, because he invested his own money in Volero, not government ones or from sponsors, but performance of Volero is not strange at all!!! How he earns his money we can just guess, same how is EZC owner is making his money or how owner of Azerrail, Azeryol is earning his money etc...
In begining of season they had problem/s, team was without team spirit, now it looks that problem/s are solved, changed coach, Libero (also, there were comments how Yuko will be sold to some other team and didn't happened) and new setter, although Karine played good match yesterday. So if you ask me there is no surprise in that match. It is strange that one team who is kind outsider is not from Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan or Italy that is making result, and even better is that result is not made with huge budget as Russian, Turkish or Azerbaijan teams have, is so underestimate here.
Ezc has chance to go on F4 if you ask me, although they are not playing great, team has a lot players with experience what Connegliano or Omsk (it will be hard to win 3-0 in Omsk) don't have.
If GS will play match supported with they fans chances are on GS side, but honestly that is match who will be really nice to see.
Dinamo Moscow don't have chance, Kazan is in this moment on better place and it will not be easy for Moscow to take even a set.
VB should have easy match against IQT.

okay, private reasons for not liking Volero, and yes Omichka made huge disappointment to all of who support them, but I think that other tams also deserved to win, what is reason for bad game? who knows!?
Not a fan of whole Volero club, never supported them, but for te players themselves I wish them to go through because they really deserve it. As for Piacenza players (as well as Omichka's) - if you cannot motivate yourself to wake up for CL playoffs game,the level of your professionalism should be put to question.
