Brenda is way better than Gizem, but She will sit on the bench 90% of the time on the bench. Totally out of shape and out of team chemistry.

Deal with it, She is level of Sonia Candi and Anna Gray. Sometimes they have monster performance with their blocks, yes sometimes they shine in attack. But they are not high level MBs. Current Zehra level. She wouldn’t even be part of Italian NT.

She is lucky that is beautiful and popular.

She is not a player for starting position, but again Valesco choose her asn4th OH because of her great back row skills.

I would choose her over (I’m just given example) Nika D, who is 4th OH in Imoco but She is doing really poor job as back row sub. BUT Nika can be starter OH because She is more complete player than Giovannini that is not even a question.

But I think We can agree who has better defence, reception and serve skills. And who can be use for that role better. Giovannini, that is my only point.

Giovannini is perfect player as 4th OH. Perfect back row sub with her amazing back defence, great reception and really good server.

I still can’t believe people are ignoring this fact.
She has done perfect job at Olympics and WCH. And noone expecting from her to do MORE. She was not there to be starter, She was there because She had amazing role and She has done amazing JOB.

So yes Giovannini should be in NT.

Zehra and Asli are in decline, shade of herself. And hard to believe they will ever become elite MB again. Same goes to Cansu. Only who is improving is Ebrar but they don’t have quality in second OH position. Turkish OHs are having one of the worst seasons ever. Everyone though Hande is coming back but She again failed when they needed her.
And they are lacking players at libero position too. Gizem soon 33, Simge 34. Soon retiring. Ayce should retire.

Jack, one more naturalized player is not young too. She can help, but not for to long.

Their focus should be at DOMESTIC players, investing in them. Help them to improve. To many players who were holding NT and league are gone retired or they are simple done as player even if they play.

I do believe this season Eczacibasi has more chance than Vakif against Conegliano in CL.

But still Imoco is clear fave, they are just well formed team on all positions. They had slower start of the season but how seasons go, they keeps rising their level. Even without Gabi in last few matches they just perfect chemistry with block/defence and attack contribuation.
