It gets only interesting in the semis - indeed, the win of Pfeffingen against Bacau was the first surprise. But you have to admit, that CL and CEV cup are much more interesting, or not?

i dont know .... maybe Pool D yes there its quit close on top .. all other Pools are more then less 1- 2 team beat everything, so how can you see its more intresting ??

for shure level in Challenge and CEV cup lower , but its not borring ** You judging the Level or the Clubs here and have no idea about ther Budget or Generalprogramm they made so in my eyes this is not good for our Sport. by the way i think you support Stuttgart so i dont think the play borring or the Game in Dresden was bad

    thx

And the boredom continues: easily away/first match wins for Bursa and Krasnodar again, today also to expect a win of Olympiacos Piraeus in Swiss Pfeffingen and fourth quarter has to be considered more or less irrelevant (aside from the teams participating).

:white: you expected also last round a clear win by Bacau ? Whats going on with you ?? if its all so Boring for you why you watching Games ?? why all this negative Posts ??

I don't know where your informations is coming from ... but Schölzel did very good job ... 67 % in ATT...good blocking and serving ... give this youngsters little time !!!

This came from a statement of Potsdams well-known Italian coach Alberto Salomoni: he criticized the composition of the SC Potsdam squad exactly that way. We were all wondering, why Potsdam didn't perform better in last season, because the single players were all good enough for more success. But he explained, that too many German players were hired and it was therefore not possible, to balance the team well on all positions, he would have needed one or two more foreigners to do this job. But this was a management decision and one of the reasons, he left Potsdam. Maybe I can find this interview again, if you are interested, or it was cited already in another thread? I was also surprised by his statement, but after all, this made sense.

And no, it would not harm Stuttgarts roster to have a few more German players - this is more about financial capability. For example Lisa Thomsen was just too expensive as National team libera for this complete season, so it was decided to get Wanna Buakaew (Thailand) and Hanna Orthmann instead, at least one German, which makes two overall (like last season).

Orthmann is not in Stuttgart !!!

Knowing the Germany mentality, they probably expected this team to go again all the way to the gold medal final at the ECH, then grab another "champions of the hearts"/ herzweltmeisterschaft (whatever it means, usually silver medal or 4th place) and easily qualify for Rio, like the 2014 WCH was a collective dream that only the Italian coach was responsible for.

I really have no words, Germany played a very respectable tournament at the ECH.

I know she has the skills. I'm not saying she is not ready to play on that level, what I meant is ready for the pressure in her first pro season, because Volero wants to win CL title. And also they need a very solid receiver in order to use MBs, because Rabadzhieva is not that good at receiving too.. And Vansant wasn't great in that element.. However Volero needs a 4th OH, and a second OPP

 Rabadzieva had a good Season ... she was clearly the best OH by Volero... Mamadova was the Problem !! anyway i think US Players will not fit in this System there anyway....they Count more on Russian Style....
