And destroyed France with 3-0 (12, 15, 17). Good result since the Dutch youth teams (both men and women) haven't achieved very much last years. Don't know anything about the French, but maybe they came with a very young team. This result will probably send them as 1st of the group to the second qualification round. Shouldn't interfere with her team since the second round is held in May.
Indeed. She left on Tuesday with the Dutch team to the WCQ-tournament.

Enjoyed myself watching the VBL tonight. Stuttgart getting a though win against LBA without Daalderop. But even more surprising: Schweriner losing to Vilsbiburg and dropping 3 points. They could'nt hold on to a 5-point lead (11-16) in the fourth and failed to convert 4? setpoints in the end (
) which resulted in a 3-1 loss. Stuttgart back on top, yes!

Guidetti renewed his contract last summer before Alison was born. The chairman of the Dutch federation stated that Guidetti brought this up just two weeks ago. They've searched for possible solutions but Gio had a clear opinion and would leave from the 1st of January. They both agreed and Gio ransomed the contract. So, in first place he even paid money (or the Turkish federation did) to get out of the Dutch federation...

Kind of mental breakdown from Modena in the fourth set. Leading 14-22 when the E-score seems to stop working. Pause of 5 minutes to solve the problem and when it couldn't be solved, time to get everything ready and start to work on a paper gamesheet. Skra came back to 22-22, thanks to various errors on Italian side. Then Ngapeth gave his best, scored 22-23, made two blocks and sealed the match.

Really nice game between Zenit en Moscow this afternoon. Especially the second set! Big attacks from Leon and Bakun.
Belogorie was very disappointing as far as I've seen. Saw a few minutes of the match (big points in the 1st set and 4th set) and Belogorie was choking on the deciding moments. -

Very curious how Moscow will perform against Kazan. I see them as the only team in Russia, and the last remaining opponent for the Russian Championship, who could get Zenit a little bit in trouble. -
