Well, I will praise Zhu every time she has a great game and every time she wins something. And I hope "everyone" does the same.

SO yeah...I will be doing that a lot...because 1 - she always plays great 2- she always win..

But... so what? At the end of the day, it's just ONE person and what they think. I disagree with a ton of stuff Shame says, but he's perfectly entitled to his own opinion. And as long as he's not spamming the board with disparaging comments about Zhu Ting, which he clearIy isn't, I don't see what the problem is. So he doesn't like her. Big deal. Almost everyone else does.

It's not just that people get offended when someone insults Zhu Ting, which I can understand, but it feels like some people take it as a personal insult if others don't praise her as much as they think she deserves. And that, IMO, is going over the top.

Sadly...you are also contributing to the expansion of discussion by hushing the discussion.

Why ask people to stop talking about Zhu Ting's great performance? She just won the MVP. That's almost infringing on their rights considering it makes sense why they are talking about Zhu and why they are bringing up the past. :rolll: That's why I said just let them say what they want if you agree that Zhu is the best player in the world for now cause disagreeing on them will only cause them to expand the discussion by raising more questions after questions.

God... I want this to be over but no one's helping. It literally needs only one person to stop it but everyone's falling to SHAME's hidden agenda of increasing the traffic in this forum. :rolll:

In the previous eras... there were multiple candidates for the best player in the world... Sheilla, Gamova,Piccinini and some I forgot who competed for awards but Zhu in this generation is currently the best player in the world by a country mile.

The efficiency in her actions is off the charts. She makes mistakes... She may have bad games. She's only human.(Aren't we all glad she is just human?) :dance6:

I think her fans just don't appreciate it when SHAME wants her to receive 8 meters of court with perfect accuracy and still prefers Kosheleva as a better player when their roles in their teams are almost the same except with Zhu Ting more reliable as a receiver. :white:

Anyway... Fighting fire with fire is just bad as fighting fire by blowing air to it. :rolll:

Just let the posters say what they want and it will pass eventually.

At least they got divorced, most of male players are just having “fun” without divorcing. Even the happily married ones are having funas if they are single. Go on and message them on social media and you will see what i mean.

At least these two had decency to get divorce and then have a relationship.

I'm going to do this. Wish me luck.

It's a sensitive topic but Tiffany becoming a player on the level of Tandara is like a sudden spike to greatness. She's scoring higher points/set than the best scorers of the league.... I guess we have to see her performance against the best teams in Superliga if she could manage to play like this. If it keeps up... that would let Palacio play as wing receiver until the playoffs.

Thanks for the insight powsoff. I would like however to ask about the near-scruffle between the two teams in the tie break. I think that was 12-13 and at the end of the match. A conflict between Kurkaev/maybe with Grozer and Camejo happened which Pavlov from the bench suddenly been a part of(he even pushed Grozer away :rolll:.) I don't even understand the yellow card to the other Zenit(Was it issued? I'm not sure). It felt like Novosibirsk started the fight. I think that resulted to their own demise however. Seems like the fight affected them more than it did to SPb. :super:

Very disrespectful indeed. I do understand he misses his family but Ngapeth is only a country away from France and we have how many players from America like Bruno, Maxwell Holt and others having the same problem x 10000 kms and they are still professional about it.

About his brother... Modena already accommodated his requests. I doubt anyone would just waste their funds on a foreign player that plays rarely in official matches if he wasn't his brother. I think Earvin needs to think about that.

I have nothing to comment on Stoytchev. I feel I don't have a full grasp on the situation to make a well-educated opinion about his tenure in Modena.

I wonder how many female members are here in this forum. It would be great to have a perspective especially from a female athlete or sportswoman why they do this and do that. It's not always the case but I feel women are more family-oriented. It would be a great discussion to have. That would be very enlightening especially to volleyball fans.

I don't remember it exactly, but was he not just using Robinson to improve reception with Lonneke in the back row?

Or unburden Zhu from reception so she could focus on offense and (to keep the ace player from pushing herself to the brink of an injury).

Basically with Zhu... she's an opposite playing left with higher efficiency on attack than Sloetjes.

If Guidetti applied psychology instead of basic mathematics... I really have no clue where Vakifbank will be even with his players at his disposal. :white:

Can you imagine Tandara on Vakifbank? If Zhu stays and Lonneke leaves... I feel with Tandara able to receive on a good level. Vakifbank can be more balanced than before. :white:

It was an intense match between Zenit St Petersburg and Novosibirsk decided by service and a very good substitution.

In all practical reason... Novosibirsk should've won the game. Horrendous reception as like all games of the Other Zenit including all of liberos and the seemingly lack of reliable outside hitters to play better than Sivozhelez or Camejo.

Still I found out they used at last another player than Shipotko. :rolll:

Boldyrev managed to play well. Not bad. I just didn't think he was that good but he was able to mend the reception of St. Petersburg and play more air battles against Novosibirsk. The reception just was zero for Petersburg. The fact he raised the ball was enough to get some rally going.

Kurkaev should've been the MVP of the match. He was the one who broke the reception of SPb. Martynuk played also very well. Eksi who was also great however turned very predictable and the attack suffered in a big way for Novosibirsk although the pipe set he made for Divis was amazing but not enough for a win. It was just that you know when it's coming to Grozer or his middle blockers which caused enough momentum for the other Kazan to wage a come back.

For the last points of the game. I was shocked when Klimkin decided to bench Volkov for Sivozhelez to serve. At the first moment... I thought it was a bad decision with how great Volkov's serve is then I remembered the olympic champion doing so badly in defense after he serves.

I'm glad Sivozhelez proved everyone wrong on that. Still the passing was just unacceptable so Boldyrev has to be the MVP of this match for me. He saved Zenit SPb when everyone thought they have no one in the bench. :win:

I hope Otavio gets more chances in the selection. I think he is Brazil's best middle blocker right now. There's also Flavio. I'm just not sure. I think Otavio's more complete. I feel Brazil needs to polish the MB position. There's a big chance the titulars are going to decline from what I see. Eder is improving in Trentino but then he's old. He's not a holder in the NT but he has been saving Trento for quite a while which I like but age is something to consider. Lucas is great but something's off. I just don't feel the motivation anymore and Mauricio is okay just not essential. Isac is still confused.

By the way....I still can't believe Ivovic just made the worst serve of all time. Poor Wallace... Never saw that one coming. :rolll:

I also want a challenge system in superliga. This is not okay anymore. Male and female... the rate of wrong calls in the worst time to call them is becoming higher. :read:

No Way! I didn't think it would become that worse until the referee pulled out the red card against Taubate. :white:

Motivational songs with lots of positive vibes in general. Also songs of the club itself. Personally knowing exactly what the meaning of those songs are I can't understand how it would affect any team in a negative way. Just good spirited chants all around, sounds lovely to me.

Volleyball is all about communication which leads to better team work.

No matter what people say... it hurts for the team if the game is being overpowered by those chants. It's never a good thing. You want an equal opportunity for everyone. This is not like football where it is played outdoor. The sound is still there but that's fine. With indoor... the sound will reverberate and will turn to... noise.

I always thought Fenerbahce missed the boat on Zeng Chunlei. Obviously... Zeng will never fill the gap left by Kim but atleast by having a pure OH albeit right side would've better than trying to debate who is better to be benched or who should start. Rahimova being benched means losing firepower in the serve and attack. You can also say the defense is there with the block but the reception is just so so. Then Polen who's ultimate job is to become the turkish filler in Fenerbahce. We still have the setters then Jerkov. :rolll:

It also makes sense with the substitution with the setter. It's not a bigger regret if Zeng Chunlei makes a bad match but losing Rahimova with the setter does hurt a lot only for Polen to play. :rolll:

I think fabio was talking about Robinson's performance, he knows Zhu is amazing

My mistake. Names should be spoken when there are two subjects.

Opposite receiving is actually difficult especially for a right handed player. It's not so much because it is hard to receive the balls on the other side but trying to become a part of the attack is hard when you are right handed. No surprise it's called a weak side for the orthodox players. I guess that's why Demir is doing well for her own good and why Risa Shinnabe is a class of her own when she plays as a receiving opposite in Japanese NT.

Robinson is playing not so bad. Not amazing ofcourse.

ability to do what?? She received only 10 balls and a couple were overpass, but Naz is tall and she cam jump high and still make a set to Zhu.

Oh yeah her performance was more important than winning this game....

I don't know how you would say that with a straight face when basically every other player besides Zhu would've smashed the ball into the block or tip the that not so good pipe sets besides Zhu Ting who uses her clinical use of her wrist snap to avoid blocks even with the balls not set perfectly.

I do believe Vakifbank won it as a team but Zhu Ting was also amazing as an individual. Both wouldn't get the win if they both played badly as a team or the ace player not living up for the night's expectations.

Oh and we all know players avoid Zhu Ting to serve cause either way. System or out of system... She's gonna kill it.
